First apply a clear base color to your nails, to prevent them from yellowing and make your nail color last longer. Paint the first line of color nail polish down the middle of the nail, in one sweep, from the base of nail to the tip leaving just a small space at the base of the nail. Then paint two strips on either side. Let your nails dry before applying a second coat. Finish manicure with a clear top coat to extend wear and shine.
