Empowerment Through Education Contest

In response to the low percentage of minority healthcare workers, Dr. Lynne Holden co-founded Mentoring in Medicine in March 2006. The group pairs minority health care professionals with students in urban areas, encouraging them to pursue professions within health care. With the support of Mentoring in Medicine, socio-economically disadvantaged students are empowered to achieve their goals.
