Empowerment Through Education Contest

Raquel Lee is a family advocate at the Greenfield Family Resource Center where she helps minimize the barriers that keep students from getting a good education. With the funding from this award, over 500 students will be given supplies such as new shoes. "This may be the first pair of new shoes they have ever worn," says Raquel. "It genuinely contributes to the success of their education and self-esteem."
