FACE MAKEUP EXPOSED

Let’s face it…without a little help, no one has absolutely flawless skin. That’s where foundation, concealer and powder come in. These key three face products create a beautiful, even canvas for the rest of your makeup. Your face makeup should blend so well that all others see is your perfect complexion. And if everyone’s compliments about your skin aren’t enough to make you flush, brighten up with a healthy sweep of blush and bronzer.

FIND THE RIGHT PRODUCT FOR YOUR SKIN TYPE

Look for products that will play well with your skin type. There are four major skin types – normal, oily, dry and combination. Your skin may also be sensitive or aging.

Decide How Much Coverage You Want
If you have any blemishes or unevenness, you can trust foundation to give you the coverage to create a perfect, even complexion. Not everyone, however, may want to apply foundation all over. Healthy, unblemished skin doesn’t need to be totally covered. Apply face products selectively in areas of uneven skin tone, usually along your nose and cheeks. For a more natural look, consider skipping foundation and use concealer to hide small imperfections, and add blush or bronzer to brighten entire face. If you have oily or combination skin, keep shine under control with shine-control translucent powder.

Consider Different Benefits
Every face product has its particular strength. If you have no time for touch-ups or have a special occasion, choose long-wearing makeup like Superstay Silky or Pure Stay. Ingredients in age-minimizing products, such as Instant Age Rewind Foundation and Concealer visibly rewind the years for firmer, more radiant skin. Shine-control products absorb oil, while natural coverage products are good for any skin type. To prevent and treat breakouts, consider Pure.Concealer with salicylic acid.
