“We drew inspiration for the look from the rich colors of the appliqué flowers on Josephine’s gown. With the theme, we knew we could push the boundaries without distracting from the dress.”– Grace Lee, Celebrity Makeup Artist
To establish a flawless base, Grace prepped Josephine’s skin with Super Stay Full Coverage Foundation, a waterproof foundation that stays on all day. Grace paired this with one of Josephine’s go-to products, Instant Age Rewind Concealer to brighten the undereye.
Grace applied SuperStay Ink Crayon Lipstick in ‘Treat Yourself’ as a base to make Fit Me Blush pink in ‘Berry’ pop. The blush was applied up towards the eyes to create a fluid color with her eyes. She achieved a “reverse contour” by starting with a dark blush color and then applying City Mini Eyeshadow Palette in ‘Blushed Avenue’ over it; brushing towards the temples.
She then applied a light layer of City Bronzer Bronzer & Contour Powder around the hairline and jawline and paired it with Master Chrome Metallic Highlighter in ‘Molten Rose Gold’ for an eye-catching chrome effect.
Grace paired the City Mini Eyeshadow Palette in ‘Blushed Avenue’ with SuperStay Ink Crayon Lipstick in ‘Treat Yourself’ for Josephine’s eyeshadow makeup look, blending it through the temples to connect with the cheek color. She lined Josephine’s eyes with TattooStudio Sharpenable Gel Eyeliner Pencil in ‘Rich Amethyst’, a waterproof eyeliner, and coated her eyelashes with Snapscara Mascara in ‘Deep Cherry’ to make her green eyes pop.
She sparsely filled in eyebrows for a natural-looking finish, and waterproof eyebrows too, using the TattooStudio Brow Pomade.
Grace completed the look with our matte lipstick pencil, SuperStay Ink Crayon Lipstick in ‘Settle for More’ and ‘Make it Happen,’ using it as a lip liner and then filling in the lips for full color. She then dabbed Made for All Lipstick in ‘Ruby for Me’ in the center of her lips for added dimension.
Erin Parsons' inspiration behind Gigi’s red carpet look was an ethereal ice queen glow, equipped with white feathers, gold and silver sequins and a matching cap. The look was complete with tinsel-inspired white lashes for a dramatic finish.
Erin applied SuperStay Full Coverage Foundation, a shine free foundation, to create a matte base. She lightened up the under-eye area with Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Treatment Concealer, blending the anti-aging concealer formula outwards. She added dimension to Gigi’s face by contouring her forehead and cheekbones with City Bronzer Bronzer & Contour Powder and lightly brushed Fit Me Loose Finishing Powder over the t-zone to mattify the skin.
Erin used City Bronzer Bronzer & Contour Powder in shade ‘100’ to create a soft eyeshadow look and subtly contrast Gigi’s bold white eyelashes.
To keep the attention on Gigi’s eyes, Erin created a full nude lipstick look with SuperStay Matte Ink Un-Nude Liquid Lipstick in ‘Driver’.
