Other application pointers: Issues arise with thickening mascara when you apply too much (you want to keep lashes feeling weightless, even when going for maximum impact) and when you let mascara dry between applying coats. Then the dreaded clumps begin to form. If that happens, try using a clean spoolie brush to separate the lashes before re-applying throughout the day to avoid clumps.
