Complaint About Maybelline TattooStudio Eye Pencil. Dear Maybelline Customer Service, I have been a loyal Maybelline customer for many years, and I am writing to express my disappointment with the Maybelline TattooStudio Eye Pencil. When the pencil becomes this short, it is no longer possible to sharpen it properly, even though there is still product inside. This results in unnecessary waste and prevents customers from using the product to its full value. Considering the price of this product, I believe customers should be able to use it until the very end. It is frustrating to pay for a premium product and have to throw away a significant amount that cannot be accessed because of the pencil’s design. As a long-time and loyal customer, I would appreciate receiving compensation for the wasted product and hope Maybelline will consider improving the design of this pencil to prevent this issue in the future. To spend all your money on sharpening it into noth

Waste of money you'll spend all of your time sharpening it down. Trying to get a tip that is usable and then realize that even once you get a usable tip that the product itself is a waste, it's does not leave any product on your face. And it just breaks off over and over again. You get 0 results and a 100% breakage.

I liked the texture and the results once applied. First I did not understand how to lengthen the core hard gel . I was very frustrated thought that I was taken advantage off. I read many reviews which were very negative . I was ready to throw it away until I decided to sharpen the crayon with a cosmetic sharpener and then a perfect crayon emerged. The Maybelline people had created the ideal system because before the gel and the wood holding the gel did not have the same texture so the gel broke easily now with the plastic material holding the gel is very similar to the gel itself so no breaking . Génial. A great great pencil, the best I ever had and I had pencil from upscale brands . This one finally delivers the perfect product .

I have used the tattoo studio line since it came , the last 3 pencils have lost the liner stick lead inside of it each time . Some break off when you sharpen and one even had the entire thing come out of the pencil.

Definitely not one of your best products. The appearance of the pencil is deceptive and confusing. After reading multiple reviews I was finally able to get it sharpened. More informative instructions would have been helpful.

I like the way it looks when I put it on, but about half way through the day it's sagging on the outside corners of my eyes and under my eye looks like I've been crying if I even think about attempting to sweat. I wish it would stay in place.

They sent me a neon green one try and where I didnt put it on my face, its been on my arm for 3 days now. I did keep the area out of water but for this design to still be on my arm? Im impressed. I wish they sent anything but neon green 💚 but I guess when we are giving them away for reviews we give what the most stock at hand is in. I gey why neon green wouldn't be the most popular color lol. Either way, it works, its strong 💪.

Gentle, easy to use

I purchased from Target/ulta. While it technically sharpens easily, it doesn’t sharpen evenly. It gives many of the same issues most pencil liners give, though I go appreciate the lack of splinters or wood just stabbing me in the eye. I’m sure most of us can relate to the wood smear with eyeliner. I love that it smudges out easily for a smoked eye or any liner look, really. I have low vision so it makes doing my liner a breeze. It does NOT have staying power, but it’s great for the price. I set it with setting powder, eyeshadow, AND setting spray to keep it in place. Otherwise, it will randomly just have me looking like a panda.i do love that it hasn’t dried out like most gel liners do. And it doesn’t bother my eyes or skin even though i have sensitive skin.

Total waste of money. It says you can sharpen it. However, if you can’t get it the base to turn, which pushes up additional gel what good is it? It took two pliers to get it to turn and when it did turn, still nothing came up. I had to completely remove the end cap and use a long end of a Q-tip just to push the gel up in order to use it. I say again, total waste of money. JUNK!!!

- A: Hello there. Despite the plastic-coated appearance of the Tattoo Studio Sharpenable Gel Pencil Longwear Eyeliner Makeup, it can be sharpened with a cosmetic sharpener. For best results, turn the pencil gently in the sharpener 3 or 4 times, being careful not to apply excess pressure. After sharpening, remove all shavings from the blade edge. Q: Why are you still using pencils that require sharpening? They are horrible and waste product, plus when you are trying to get everything out of it that you can eyelids end up getting scratched with the sharp edge. Good liner though
