The City Mini® Eyeshadow Palette

The color is great The only thing I would suggest is that the powder is very loose when you use it and the colors seem to mix together when applying, if it was a little more compressed so it wouldn't spread the powder to the other colors when applying.

I was so happy to find a matte palette. It's no simple feat to find one without shimmer, which bothers my eyes. I have had it a week. After only a couple uses, I noticed the second color from the left, the darker lid color on the bottom, had a crack in it that reminded me of how slate has layers. I went to use it this morning, and the entire pan of that color is in tiny pieces all over the rest of the palette. I couldn't blow the dust of the other colors without losing the rest of the dark color, which I love by the way, so I had to carefully move the dust off the lighter colors so I could use them. My makeup looks off today as I wasn't able to get completely clean swipes of the lighter colors. I am seriously disappointed in the durability of this fantastic matte option palette.

Matte About Town is a great palette! I love, love, love that there is absolutely no shades in it that have any shimmer. If we were able to customize it, I would make colors 1 and 6 half their size and increase colors 3 & 4.

I have six of these and I absolutely love them! I find all of them to be better than any so-called "high-end palettes " I have tried. Application and last is great, as well as pigments. I find the price point to be reasonable. My two fave go-to's are Rooftop Bronzes and Diamond District. Honestly you can't beat them. Maybelline don't discontinue them !!!

The colors are beautiful however, the fall out is terrible! And I'm talking tons of fall out! Hopefully Maybelline can fix it.

I saw good reviews on YT but really the palette is junk. I got 480-matte about town. The colors are chalky, hard to blend and not very pigmented or smooth. I really only use the white shade for cutting my crease or carving out brows. There is an obscene amount of fallout from the other shades too. I've been finding chunks of shadow all over, even on my white comforter. I thought it was another company's palette bc I was using a color from their palette similar to the bottom left, second one in, in this palette...kinda plummy neutral browny color. I totally blamed the other palette until today when I went to use the white in this palette to carve my brow, and half a pan fell out on me. And before I could even pick up the chunks, the rest of the pan plopped on my lap...eyeshadow everywhere. The purple undertone pigment is hard to get out of light colors...I've spent too much time trying to scrub it out before washing. All this for a white shadow...not worth it. Palette is in the trash.

I bought this today (1/17/19) and I really want to take it back. I purchased my own applicators and I’m glad I did, as there wasn’t one with it. The darkest color you must tread lightly with while the others are barely pigmented. Not worth it, even at drugstore price.

I think these little palettes are amazing. So incredibly pigmented, easy to blend and work with. My favorites are the Matte About Town and Brooklyn Nudes. Great job with these Maybelline.

I purchased The City Mini Eyeshadow Pallette yesterday in 530 Hi-Rise Sunset and the Master Contour Kit in 20 Medium to Deep. I couldn't wait to try them this morning. I created the simplest fall look with these great colors and they blended together well. The contour kit is AMAZING and the highlighter is hot. My only wish is that the eyeshadows were more pigmented, but the color is buildable and it stayed on all day with my eyeshadow base.

I love ONE shade in threw their kit..... have subsequently wasted a LOT of money buying 20+ kits for that one color (bottom, 2nd from left.... to the right of the glittery tan.... just left of the darkest shade... kind of a maroonish... I would love to find this color Can you help me do this? Thank you very much!

This is my favorite palette. The quality is there and it has my favorite colors all in 1! It’s perfect. Going to buy as many as I can find so I never have to go without it!

Bought Graffiti Pop on a whim for something a little brighter than my 49 year old self generally wears. I love it! This formula has a creamy feel and is long lasting- and even with thorough blending the colors stay true. Brooklyn Nudes is next!!

Bought in Walgreens as I really liked the colours in this palette, which really make the palette seem complete. However was very disappointed in how poorly pigmented the eyeshadows are, compared to other brands and won't buy Maybelline eyeshadow again as the quality is too poor that it's just a total waste of money.

I bought the Urban Jungle one and was so disappointed. There is a lot of fallout with these shades, they are hard to blend and the sparkle shades aren't very pigmented. I was so excited to try this because it is compact, had a lot of great shades and they look beautiful.

I bought myself the Rooftop Bronzes palette a little over half a year ago, and I have used it literally everyday since. The pigmentation and formula is insane. Since it's a drugstore product, you dont expect much from it, but I was definitely surprised with its performance!! This is the best eyeshadow in the drugstore. I use the shade in the upper left corner of the Rooftop Bronzes palette (like a shimmer cream color) EVERY SINGLE DAY for my inner eye highlight, and for awhile I was also using it to highlight my nose & cupid's bow when I ran out of my ABH glow kit. This Rooftop Bronzes palette is insanely worth a try if only for that one color in the top corner. This palette is also a great little palette to do a smokey eye with. I honestly really love the compactness of it as well, because I do tend to forget which shades I used when I use a larger 20-30 color palette. This product is fantastic, I will 100% be buying more, especially when I run out of the Rooftop Bronzes palette because I literally swear by this palette & cannot create a single look without it. Great pigmentation, insane color payoff, don't have to get a lot on the brush for it to show up, not too bad fallout or kickback, great sturdy packaging, lasts a long time before you hit pan, doesn't crease horribly, great color selection, and great price for such a fantastic drugstore eyeshadow. Would literally compare to Too faced and Urban Decay palettes; the creamy consistency is very similar to those high end palettes. Definitely worth giving it a try.

I have 3 city mini palettes; Urban Jungle, Concrete Runway, and Downtown Sunrise. I love the colors and love how I can mix and match color from all my palettes to create really awesome ad fun looks.

I bought this one mounth ago. It was perfect. The best.

I love the colors, but where is the applicator brush..maybe I just didn't open the palette correctly

I bought this yesterday and when I got home and opened it there was no applicator.

I have the graffiti pop and downtown sunrise and rooftop bronzes pallets. And I love them! They are perfect to throw in my makeup bag. I got the graffiti pop for the purples for my daughter but I am loving the turquoise and took it back from her. I do have super oily lids so I do find that with out primer they will crease at like the 5-6 hour mark. But with a primer or I use the fit me concealer regularly they last at least 8 hrs on me.

The eyeshadow palettes are nice but for a quick touch up on the go, I would like to see a little cheapy applicator included! I use makeup brushes to apply them in the morning and now have to cart one with me when I need to touch up. Please include them next time! Otherwise, I love these! Thanks for listening!

The city mini palette has ok pigment and great colors. I would buy it again

I bought 4 city minis. Downtown Sunrise palette is okay & the most muted of the 4 palettes (on my medium cool skin tone). I'm not a huge green fan, however, Urban Jungle looked fabulous. It was very pigmented & blended easily. I also bought Concrete Runway & Graffiti Pops which both swatched amazingly. I'm bummed that the Shayla palette was already sold out. These are small & great to pop in one's clutch/purse. There's still enough eyeshadow for the cost.
