Swollen itchy burning reaction

OMG purchased this 2 days before Christmas, after using it the first night I did notice some irritation but just thought it was perhaps some winter dryness , by the 3rd application I woke up Christmas morning with eyelids swelled alarmist shut, burning itchy sensational swollen under eye bags. After doing some online research and seeing other reviews I realized it was the mascara. I was so upset , worst Christmas ever , I was so embarrassed at Christmas family dinner , I wore sunglasses most of the day, even worse this morning after Christmas. Horrible reaction would definitely advise to stay away from product. How can you call this mascara hypoallergenic!!

Hard to apply. Disappointing results.

I have fairly long lashes and had to use a wand from my Covergirl Professional Mascara to get enough product to actually transfer onto my lashes. The consistency is weird and just clumps. Worst Mascara I've ever used. Now I know why it was on sale for such a low price, and I remember why I always go with Covergirl Professional Remarkable Mascara. It actually goes on, clings to each lash, defines, separates and appears to lengthen them. This product does none of that.

Applicator is a no go.

The applicator on this mascara is awful. The larger end gets mascara on your lids and face. Since you can only use the tip you can’t get as much product on your lashes and it’s clumpy. My store didn’t have the old reliable applicator in my color, but I won’t be buying this combo again.

Very disappointing mascara,it applies in clumps that are impossible to fix with a lash comb. It also flakes and there is more mascara on my face than lashes. By far the worse mascara I’ve ever used!

This used to be my go-to mascara for years, until recently when I noticed that there are parabens in this mascara. I am very sad and disappointed because I loved this mascara, but have to find a new one because I do not want to use products that contain paraben.

i have really long lashes, and this lots of lashes formula with the heart wand is the best for me! i have tried expensive mascaras, and i’ve tried 100s of them, and I always go back to this one! I do not use the regular kind as the brush does nothing for my lashes! but seriously this heart shaped wand brush is the best I have ever used! if u are complaining about this, you must have tiny eyelashes. This really combs out my lashes and gives them that extra long length look. I get so many compliments on my lashes and everybody is always shocked when I tell them that this mascara is the best and the only ONE i use! If you have long lashes, GET THIS MASCARA! really start at the root of your lash, and brush this mascara thru and your lashes will look like Hollywood!

I have been using Great Lash for years...probably since it first hit the market. My last purchase takes several minutes, yes minutes, to dry. Don't blink, don't look up or down because you will be wearing it on your eyelids or under eye. I'm so disappointed in my last purchase. What happened to the original formula?

I don’t know about you but I like my eyelashes curled up but when I put this mascara on it made my eyelashes flat as a board even when I curled them beforehand. It was very unflattering.

I'm 56 and have been using the Maybelline Mascara since I was about 16 and for me this new applicator is not good at all. It is hard to use, very clumpy, and the shape is too fat on one end, too pointy on the other. Maybe I'm just old. But I'm sad I'll have to find a new brand.

I usually just buy the original great lash from Maybelline, and I accidentally bought this one. The wand is different, and it's okay, it's a little bit harder to work with if you want your lashes fanned out instead of adding thickness. The formula is really flaky and smears everywhere, which is fine if you're not looking for something long-wearing.

Looove the brush but REALLY need waterproof!

I absolutely love the brush and formula.. but my lashes fall instantly with mascara isn’t waterproof. There originally WAS a waterproof of this exact brush of the Great Lash line and I can’t find it anywhere anymore.... please tell me you are bringing the waterproof back?? The Best Mascara Ever!

I have been using Great Lash Lots Of Lashes Washable Mascara for several years. I am 58 years old and have worked in the "high end" cosmetics industry for part of my career. I have used many mascaras, and this is by far the best! It does not clump and gives fuller, longer lashes and stays put. I love it! It is the BEST!

Not a good buy....clumpy and flakes on my face

This mascara is clumpy on the wand and then it flakes onto my face.

I've used this mascara for years! I occasionally step out of the box and try something new, and always come back to this one. I love this brush, makes my lashes look long and no clumping or flaking!

This is the best mascara i have EVER used!

I absolutely LOVE this mascara! I have always used Great Lash products in the past, but this is definitely the best. My lashes are tiny and any other mascara clumps them up like crazy. Thanks to this, it makes them long, beautiful, and clump free! I wish I could take a picture of them, but it won't let me, thanks to Maybelline!

My mom bought me this mascara as part of a gift and for me, it sucks it does not coat my eyelashes it clumps them together it makes me look like I have sticks of black attached to my eyelid and it makes my eyelashes fall out when I try and take it off, and I don't scrape it off, I don't rub very hardly, I take my miceller water and makeup wipes to my entire face and it still doesn't come off until unless I do it six more times. And half the time I just sleep in it because it won't come off.
No, I do not recommend this product.

not the wand I wanted

I bought this and thought I was getting the classic Great Lash. Big mistake. It's very clumpy and messy.
