I love this mascara! Unfortunately, its hard to find in stores though. I love the brown shade! I hate the ' brown black' shade you have for so many of your other mascara products. Please don't discontinue the brown

This is the GOAT for Mascaras!

This is the Greatest Of All Time for Mascaras, I don't end up with raccoon eyes by the end of the night goes on great makes my eyes look so much better and the fact that it's waterproof but when you wash your face it comes off unlike the lash stiletto waterproof, which I have to pray to the gods while using five or six makeup remover cloth per eye to get off oh and the last stiletto smears and gives me raccoon eyes in less than a few hours. When I saw that they were discontinuing this I don't know what to even say now I've got to find a new mascara because my other choices with this company do not work. This makes me sad I've loved this mascara for decades now. BRING IT BACK!

My favorite mascara for YEARS

I get compliments on this mascara every time I wear it. When I see it in a store I buy multiples since it’s hard to find the waterproof version. I got on here to see if it was discontinued and to beg Maybelline to reconsider. I attached an image of one layer of this mascara on one of my eyes and my other eye without makeup so you can see the difference!! I always get asked if I’m wearing false lashes

This is THE best mascara. It won’t flake or clump and it comes off so easily with just water and a washcloth. No residue is left. I am very upset they are discontinuing this product!

This is the only mascara I've ever liked. It goes on smoothly, stays on all day, and comes off easily with vaseline or micelar water. The black cherry color was great for making green eyes pop and I am so incredibly disappointed to see that it's being discontinued. :'(

This is the all time best mascara! The fact that I never get raccoon eyes and it applies and removed effortlessly is amazing. I can’t find this product at the store anymore and am afraid that maybe line is slowly outsourcing it. I hope not! I would buy the recipe if I could!

Thé applicator is a bristle brush with the proper curve and length of bristles. The mascara is lightweight, a proper deep black and goes on in no time. I would recommend, especially to those new to mascara as it is easily removed with soap and water. Try it! It’s also still a relatively inexpensive mascara option.

Please don’t ever discontinue this mascara. I love the results and the fact that is washes off so easily. I’ve bought more tubes of this mascara than anything else in my makeup bag. Literally have 4 on back up. It does dry out after a month or two but it’s still totally worth it because the price isn’t bad and it washes off with soap and water completely.

This is the best mascara I've found, and I've tried expensive ones as well. It lasts all day and doesn't bother my eye allergies. Doesn't flake or smudge but washes off more easily than any other mascara I've used. Just facewas and water, no need for eye makeup remover. Please keep making this!

The Holy Grail of mascaras!

For me at least, this mascara is a wonder. I’ve only had it for a few days, so it’s too soon to tell how it lasts. But so far, it is exactly what it purports to be: not clumpy, not irritating, doesn’t flake or smudge much, plus easy to put on and take off. I have been trying to find a mascara that has these qualities for soooo long, and I am relieved to have finally found one that does— and doesn’t cost an arm and a leg, too. Please never stop making this.

The only mascara I can wear with blepharitis/MGD

I seriously thought my mascara days were over or that I’d have to accept that if I were to wear even a tiny bit of mascara that I’d get styes. NOPE. Enter Maybelline’s snapscara!!! I’ve been using this mascara for a month now without any styes!! On top of that, I wore this mascara to Disney land for 5 days in near 100 degree weather. The mascara did NOT flake or smudge. Wherever I’d get moisture on my face, including crying, my lashes did not run or get sticky. They stayed looking fresh the entire time. It truly is water proof! However, use warm water and gently wash your eyes and it comes right off without any smearing or residue left behind. It’s hands down the easiest mascara to wash off ever. I think this has been key to preventing my styes. It does have a bit of a learning curve to it as it’s not like traditional mascara. It’s best to not layer or disturb it once it dries. I will use this mascara for as long as it’s being made. Please never discontinue it maybelline!!!

Wow, just wow! I am in love with this mascara. It gives amazing length, volume, and applies easily. I love the brush, it gets the tiny corner lashes. It doesn't smudge and removes easily when you are ready. Please never stop making this!! (I bought the waterproof one in Pitch Black).

Long last, but truly super easy removal

I have tried many mascaras from many brands, from cheap to expensive. Snapmascara is the best, because it is long wearing, fills in lashes, but is removed in a breeze, with just a cotton ball and warm water: this fact alone makes it an absolute winner!

I love the formula of this mascara. It is smooth and creamy, and makes my lashes look dark and full. It doesn't dry them out like some mascaras I've used, and even seems to condition them a bit. I haven't had any problems with flaking or smudging, and it comes off easily with my night-time cleanser. Highly recommend!

Easy to Remove, but Flaky

I love this mascara because it is easy to remove. Even the waterproof is resistant to light amounts of water, but washes away easily with warm water. It doesn't smudge, but it flakes like no other. It leaves little spots allll over my face. The waterproof isn't as bad, but too flaky to continue using. I have been using it for around 4 years.

Tried this mascara. It said it was waterproof, wouldnt smudge or clump. It clumps and falls off in clumps all over ur face, smudges off and is not waterproof at all, again it jst falls off in to your eyes and itches, and clumps all over ur face

I thought I would try a different Maybelline Mascara instead of my usual regular old school brand. Well, I should have known better because nothing beats the original! This stuff is so messy and clumpy looking!! As soon as I pulled out the brush for the first time I knew it was going to be a hot mess. It was all clumped on the brush, and when I tried to apply it, it made my eyelashes look like I have never used mascara in my life!

I bought the one that is purple it looks like black on but when u take it off with a makeup wipe it looks purple but, it still looks rlly good on I 100% recommend this!!

I’ve bought Maybelline mascara consistently for over 40 years. This mascara is thick and clumpy, and the brush is worthless! I don’t know if the bristles are too soft or the mascara too heavy but you can’t get it onto your lashes. It takes 5-6 coats to get any appearance of mascara and it has no lengthening properties. Definite NO!

I LOVE Maybelline mascara & I have always love colors but this Snapscara is absolutely the best. It's easy on & easy off. Please never stop making this product. Oh and the Demin mascara is my favorite also but I can't find it anyway .

I recently bought Maybelline Snapscara and have used it twice. Both times the mascara has flaked off onto my lower eyelids and upper cheeks, leaving little blacks particles all over! Not sure what the problem is but in the trash went the Snapscara!

This was the first tubing mascara I've bought! I got the color black cherry- I can admit the color isn't very intense BUT it's the formula that really made meove this mascara! It's so easy to work with but I loove how easy it comes off! Usually other mascaras leave a dark residue and takes forever to be completely cleaned off. This one really did come off easy! Best part no eyelashes were damaged in the process!! I would love to try tl blue color next!

This would be the best mascara out there, only if it did what it said it would do. Now, don't get me wrong it does wonders for my lashes but if I get them wet, it is ALL OVER! LITERALLY!! This product is definitely NOT water or smudge proof! It rolls up into tiny balls and gets every where, a lil too messy for me. On a good note, it does not irritate my eyes and makes my lashes look thick, long and false.

Definitely not waterproof; it instead just gives you a bags of soot beneath your eyes if it gets wet. When dry, it gives great volume and decent lash separation The wand doesn't fit my eye shape perfectly, but I do like that it curves and tapers so its easy to get the inner and outer corners without messing up your eyeshadow. Not the best, not the worst.

I bought this waterproof mascara for our family vacation to FL. As soon as you go swimming and get your face wet or go underwater the mascara clubs and comes off. This was embarrassing to be with other family members and have my kids ask me what was all the black stuff on my face. What a waste of money. Dollar store regular mascara works better than this stuff.

NOT WATERPROOF!

It’s a nice mascara, goes on nice, dark color, long lashes. but omgosh I’ve never seen anything like the effect it had on my lashes when it got wet. it like slid off of my lashes like little lash cases with a few sprinkles of water. It was very disappointing. I have another mascara from maybelline(not snapscara) and it says it’s hydrofuge waterproof and it actually works, so I was very disappointed when this snapscara wasn’t water proof at all. Like I said previously I gently dropped water drops on my eyes in the shower to test the mascara for under 30 seconds and all of the mascara had slidden off.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Hi there! Thank you for your review of the Snapscara Washable Mascara. We are sad to hear that when your mascara got wet it ran and slid off. We recommend using the waterproof Mascara version of this Snapscara as the washable is easier to remove but is not waterproof. We hope this helps.

Q: This is my favorite mascara of all time: it doesn't smudge; it lengthens, separates, and easily removes without pulling on my lashes. Why is it being discontinued? Finding a replacement has been challenging. :(

Q: I just purchased the waterproof snapscara from WalMart and it appears to be to be dried out in the bottle. It does not coat the brush applicator and you cannot shake the liquid. Is this some powder based product?

Q: I do wear this mascara often and I have it in three different colors. The black cherry no longer has any red pigment in it. The whole tube turned brown! I haven’t had it that long so I’m not sure why that happened.

Q: If a rain drop falls on my eyelash the mascara will become soft, and easy to remove, right? How does this give me prettier eyelashes than other washable products? No cut/paste answers please! I want to know about the product a bit.

Q: How can this really be 'smudge proof' when it's waterbased? Waterbased products are reactivated by contact with liquids. Thus any exposure will make the mascara a liquid again, allowing it to smudge and run.
