Love it , goes on smooth does not cause irritation and does not separate throughout the day , the sponge is easy to come off , I use it without the sponge and use a foundation brush , worried it might be discontinued all the ones I buy have a expiration date of Feb 2026 , but can’t find anything online on weather it is discontinued or not

I'm going to bet that a man invented the application process with this product! It's taking me an hour twisting and twisting to get absolutely nothing on the cheap sponge yeah no germs get on it because nothing is on it! 1,000% disappointed and I will never recommend this to anybody. Unless you enjoyed getting a hammer and breaking the bottle open to get your product out this is for you!

We are so incredibly sorry for the frustration! We know how annoying it is when you're ready to use a new product and the applicator just won't cooperate.
Pro-tip: On the first use, it can sometimes take up to 30–40 full turns to get the product to saturate the sponge. However, if you've been twisting for that long and still see nothing, it sounds like you may have a defective unit. We definitely don't want you reaching for a hammer!

Wonderful product, Can't you come up with a better container that is not so difficult to open or get the heat sealed plastic wrap off the tip? Very frustrating and seems you could solve this easily with a different packaging tweak. PLEASE!

Lose the sponge

I wish this product was available in a regular bottle. Coverage is great. Shade is perfect. Applicator is gross. It sucks up so much product and it seems very unsanitary to have a damp sponge full of yesterday’s makeup rubbing on your face. I’m now using the product without the sponge. It works fine, but getting it out is a bit awkward.

Weak dispensation and sharp applicator tip

The applicator does not dispense much product at all and has a sharp tip inside. If I press harder to release the product I damage the already dark area under my eyes.

Horrible Applicator!!!

This has been my favorite makeup for several years. However the last 5 - 6 bottles I've purchased the makeup comes out all over and around the bottle, making a horrible mess. So much product and my money is wasted!! I've kept hoping for a fix, but now I'm going to have to go elsewhere. ;-(

Not happy

Purchased this product (concealer and makeup) - put it on in the morning. Removed makeup, using my normal products, went to bed. By 11:40 I was awake, with my face burning and bright red. Applied cold compresses and was still painful. Dug around in the 1st aid kit & found some Benadryl ointment, which helped somewhat, but I'm still very uncomfortable 24 hours later.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Love it but hate manufacturing defects

I LOVE this product but not the manufacturing design. The last 2 times I have purchased this the twist mechanism has stopped working with in a few days of purchase. It’s not super expensive makeup but I still paid for it and want to get my money’s worth. First time I took the time needed to return it, this time I cut it open and using different sponge to apply. I’m switching to easier product. I don’t like wasting my hard earned money.

Maybelline always has amazing products. It’s medium to full coverage build and it looks like skin! The finish is satin and it’s moisturizing. The shade I got is more yellow than my skin tone but I’d definitely purchase this product in my shade!

The coverage is everything you want when searching for makeup. I wouldn’t suggest using it to blend, have a separate tool! No scent but wish it did have one. The finish was everything I wanted and the packaging is so convenient. Many shades!

Quality contro very poor

the last 2 bottles of this instant age rewind was of poor quality. Have used it for a long time but lately the sponge applicator is separating from the top of the bottle. Makeup oozes from gap between the sponge and the bottle making it impossible to use without making a mess. very disappointed with it.

Twist up applicator doesn't always work right

I love this makeup, but once again very disappointed due to the twist up mechanism not working. This is the 3rd time I have had a brand new package not work. I will probably break into the bottle and use a sponge to apply. Seriously considering trying a new brand.

I wish they would go back to their original bottle. Ever time this sponge is leaking or the product doesn't comes out. It's also unsanitary to use this sponge over and over without being able to clean it.

Wish I could use, but not for me

I really wanted to like this since I used it in the past. Issue is with spongy applicator. I twist and turn the top but never see product. I feel like I'm spreading old product on my skin. Is this available without that spongy thing?

I’m not completely sure this is a Foundation. But it’s the BEST TINTED MOISTURIZER I’VE EVER TRIED. I love a light coverage and skin loving ingredients. I really hate covering my freckles but I get so red around my lips. So this is so effect for me🫶🙏✨

Theapplicatir works great but when you think it is empty, you can turn it upside down and 1/4 inch of make up not being picked up..I broke into mine and I have enough make-up for several days..if you didn't look you would instantly go buy another.

It’s just a perfect foundation you needed in your life!

I don’t know how I lived without it but I’m glad I know about this foundation now! First off, what a genius design and application! It’s so easy to apply with the sponge I can avoid using my foundation brush and deal with cleaning it a few times a week. The texture is perfect, it glides so easily on my skin and gives it that glowy look I often need for on-camera work for my beauty videos. Love it love it love it and recommended it to all of my gf friends. Also, I have to mention how fabulously it fills in my tiny wrinkles that disappear as if I used some photoshop. Highly recommend to give it a try especially if value your time during the make up routine!

This foundation is so easy to use! I have some very significant sun spots and this foundation help diminish them instantly. The product provides awesome coverage. I used a power after this foundation and blended so well. I definitely recommend this foundation. It will also reduce the appearance of fine lines.

I love this product. I did not give it 5 stars because getting it unsealed is extremely difficult and the same for the under eye eraser. Whoever tests your products needs to test for ease of opening. I understand safety concerns but how safe is it if I cannot unseal it to use it?

Excellent lightweight coverage

I recently tried the Madeline Instant Age Foundation in shade 310, and I loved it! I’m not one to typically wear foundation, but it provided excellent coverage and provided a nice base for the rest of my makeup. The formula feels lightweight and comfortable, yet it lasts all day without any touch-ups needed. Plus, the shade 310 matches my skin perfectly, giving me a natural look. This foundation has quickly become my go-to for a flawless complexion. Highly recommend!

This was discontinued for years. I have wasted countless money trying so many different foundations that didn't live up to Maybelines Instant Age Rewind. The natural wearing beautiful coverage doesn't look cake, crease wrinkle lines, and looks better as the day goes on! Yay! Thank you for selling this again in 2024!!! Natural Beige is perfect.

Not happy with new colors

I am upset that Pure Beige 250 has been discontinued and it was perfect for my skin tone. I like the erasable container and I do not want to use any other liquid brand. in other reviews you recommended another type of your makeup instead of having one the same shade. Why did you change the colors? I guess I will have to try the new makeup on the internet since you have not been accommodating to your existing customers.

Does not cover well, leaves streaks

This may not be the greatest review due to the fact that I chose the wrong shade for my skin tone, so it will be mostly based on coverage. I highly suggest applying with dab motion rather then a swipe, to decrease streaking. I do not like the cakey finish once it’s drying. It’s thin, but will show cracking around creases and has a grainy finish. I would consider this a medium coverage and definitely not an age rewind, but more like an age accelerator. It increased the signs of large pores. If feels lightweight, so that’s a plus. I would not recommend this for everyday use, but more for a on the go, quick fix.

Fantastic foundation

My new favorite foundation! I was a bit skeptical as I put it on due to the feel of the product, but once I got it blended and set it was a perfect color match and lasted all day! Didn’t slip at all!! The feeling was great on my skin and the smell wasn’t anything overpowering. I only took away a star because I do not like the applicator. Those twist things can be so difficult. Still love the product though!

Great foundation

I received this product complimentary in exchange for my honest review from Influenster and Maybelline.
The Instant Age Rewind Foundation is very easy to apply, thanks to the built-in sponge applicator! The foundation formula combined with the sponge gives a natural skin finish and looks almost airbrushed.
I'd say it's medium coverage that's buildable with a natural finish.
I think it's great to have a built-in sponge applicator, it makes it so easy to throw in my purse in case I need it!
I received shade 310, which was a little too light for me. I have tan/Medium-Deep, neutral but slightly warm and olive skin...which makes it very difficult to find my perfect shade.
However, Maybelline has a lot of shades to choose from! I just picked the wrong shade.
This foundation stayed well on my combination skin that leans towards normal!
It didn't settle into fine lines, wrinkles or crease. And, It didn't rub off on my shirt, but it did come off if I needed a tissue...so, I did have to reapply on my nose, even though I used a setting spray. And, that's why I gave it 4 stars.
Overall, I think Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Foundation is a great and affordable drugstore foundation!

- A: Find a different manufacturer because Maybelline cancels the ones that are used the most, for whatever reason. Bad management, poor decision-making, terrible marketing department… Who knows? I use 320. It is also no longer available. 310 is too late and 330 is too dark. But do they care? Absolutely not. I would strongly suggest moving to a different manufacture.8 months agoHelpful?
