Dreadful packaging - lovely powder.

The powder is excellent - soft, gentle and easy to apply - good coverage. The new packaging is just awful!! It makes it difficult to access the good product. The square shape is awkward to use and cannot be opened to access the remnants of product at the end. Additionally, there is now no powder puff provided - perhaps because of the square shape. The little round hole inside is too small to take a powder puff. I am breaking open square boxes to decant product to use in my remaining round containers. Please reinstate round packaging, removable internal lid and powder puffs.

No pad supplied anymore to apply powder!!

I have been using Maybelline loose powder for many years because it has been the best powder that I’ve tried. It goes on and stays on great! My 2 star rating is for the new packaging. I am very disappointed in their new container design. First off, having holes instead of being able to have a whole open container is a pain! You have to shake it a bunch to make sure you have powder out to use and if you didn’t shake enough you have to screw lid back on and shake again. It makes way more of a mess causing you to waste some of the powder. And another thing that is extremely irritating to me is that it no longer comes with a pad to apply it with. I do NOT want to apply with a brush! The packaging they had was working perfectly fine for decades, so why change to something worse!!! Extremely dissatisfied and if I can’t find a pad to apply it with I will have to find a new brand that does supply pad with the powder, but I really like this powder as I have tried other brands over the years so I am really hoping that Maybelline will change their packaging instead!!!!

FitMe products SUCK!!! Bring back Mineral Power!!!

I HATE the new FitMe collection!!! I've tried using the powder as a standalone (as I had done for years with the Mineral Power) AND tried pairing with the foundation, and it absolutely sucks! The powder doesn't cover a darn thing and the foundation is hard to spread evenly, as it just wants to sit in your pores and is too thin everywhere else. I bought 2 different kinds of the FitMe foundation, I haven't noticed a difference to either, but they're both definitely junk. I've also bought 2 containers of the FitMe powder, as I assumed it would've been similar or better than the Mineral Power that I haven't been finding in the store, and all 4 FitMe products I've bought are now in the garbage where they belong. It was an INCREDIBLY POOR decision to discontinue the Mineral Power!!!! BRING IT BACK!!!!!!!

This powder looked skin color in store, it's not; its a burnt Orange color. It makes you look ten years older and like you have a fake 1970s spray on tan. Had to wash my face off it looked so bad.
I am so disappointed. I will go back to cheap stuff it's closer to natural skin color.

Please bring back the discontinued mineral powder. Nothing compares or even comes close. I have been using that for 15+ years. Had I known it was being discontinued, I would have stocked up.

Please bring back the Maybelline mineral powder! None of these products worked as well as that product. I used it for 10 + yrs and it was AMAZING, I live in FL with the heat and sweat and nothing works as well as the Maybelline mineral powder. I've tried all the high end powders, nothing beats your mineral powder. PLEASE bring it back #bringbackmaybellinemineralpowder2024 #makemyfaceflawlessagain

HORRIBLE NEW PACKAGING!

I have been using Maybelline loose powder FOREVER...and would actually give this product 5 stars if it weren't for the new packaging. Since this change to the Fit Me branding, it's terrible I love the powder itself, but the container is AWFUL! The mouth of the container does not allow enough room for a big brush and/or the tapping of the brush to shake off excess powder. So much is spilled and wasted. Once close to the end of the powder, you can no longer remove the strainer portion to allow access to what's left. The square design was a big mistake. Sure, it's pretty, but it's not practical or functional at all! After being a loyal consumer for over 40 years, I am shopping around for other brands now just because of the new packaging.

Ordered this in creamy beige hoping it was a replacement for creamy natural mineral power. Absolutely not! The creamy beige is actually lighter or it doesn't cover as well. I guess I'll be looking for a new brand of makeup.

I loved the feel of the powder, it's soft and fine enough to not look cakey. The color was a good match for my skin tone. It definitely helps cut out the shiny and makes the skin look smooth and softly focused. This Is a product I would buy especially at such an affordable price point. Although I received this in return for my honest review.

Didn’t work for me

I was sent the Maybelline fit me loose powder in light medium from Influenster for review. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong but this powder looks horrible on me. I have heard so many good things about this powder. Sadly it didn’t work for me. I have applied it with a sponge, a powder puff and a brush. It clings to my dry spots. I don’t wear foundation only concealer and it makes my concealer set horribly. I have combination skin. This powder is not for me.

This is the best loose powder i have ever used! This product taught me that high end brands didn't necessarily mean it was the best because thisssss existed and was muuuuuuch better than any high end setting powder i have eevr used but jn general it literally is the best i have ever used. Even how it sunk into my skin it was giving me Korean glass skin type of look!!! I was constantly getting compliments on my skin looking flawless and it was always because of this product. The best part is it neeeeever broke me out like how some high end ones did and it's so sad if its true that this has been discontinued because now I have to find something else that can match this level 😭😭😭 I don't understand why such a successful produxt would lead to being discontinued??? Like whyyyy

Decent loose powder

I don't know what it is about this particular powder, but I have always preferred the compact over the loose fit me. It just did not give me the same coverage, I needed to use more, and it didn't have the same lasting power. It had been years since I tried the loose and found I much preferred the compact, gave it another try, and found I still got the same results. I wouldn't highly recommend this powder, but would recommend the compact Fit Me.

This is the only setting powder I ever want to use! I can’t find it anywhere anymore and I read it was being discontinued. Please do not discontinue this product! It’s my holy grail and I’ve been trying to find a dupe with nothing even coming close to this product.

Can't break into the packaging - not pleased.

I'm sure the product is life-altering. I'll never know, couldn't break into the packaging. Two airline pilots, one knife, defeated by $9 product powder vault.
Luckily, I have another brand of looose powder that willingly and graciously allows me to access its essence.
Now imagine my 85 yr old mother buying this. Excellent job.

I have used fit me finishing powder for awhile now. I have noticed by mid day my nose is really shiny due to oily skin. The powder doesn’t stay all day but works wonders for the first few hours.

Not Good Enough

This powder works nicely when you first put it on. I saw it instantly matting my skin. However, that mattifying power does not stay. Granted, I do have extremely oily skin, but I could not go a full day of work without having to reapply. And I have a lazy job, so I can’t blame sweating. It’s decent for the price point, but I think there’s better out there.

I received this product for free from Influester and Maybeline in exchange for my honest review. This one was just okay. I apply a thin amount and my pores was still showing. It’s also very light on me. Might need to go up on a shade

Perfect powder!

I love how light this powder is! It works great by itself or when using over foundation. The powder does a really great job of smoothing out slight imperfections on your skin as well as helping to make your pores not look so big. This powder lasts all day and does not make your skin oily which I love so much! I highly recommend this powder.

I used this over my normal foundation and sometimes used it alone. Both ways gave me a great look. I tend to have oily skin and had to touch up a few times but it kept looking great!
