Great Product, Bad Applicator

I love the product, hate the applicator. Its a cross between gloss and oil, so it isnt sticky, it is plumping and the sheer colors are pretty. The taste of it has a plasticy taste. Biggest complaint is applicator. When I click the product up, it takes a bit for the product to dispense then when it does, it is too much, the cap doesnt fit and the product winds up all over the tube, and the rest of my items. Another girl at work has same issue. Maybe put it into a squeeze tube?

Very comfortable lip gloss, feels like a mix of a gloss and a lip oil. I love the clear and pink one very shiny and super glossy on the lips, I will say the darker one settles a bit on the lines.

Glossy, hydrating, and surprisingly comfortable!

Lip products are one of my weaknesses, so I wasn’t exactly lacking options before these showed up. Somehow, they still managed to surprise me.
The formula is lightweight, comfortable, and gives your lips a gorgeous glossy finish without that thick, sticky feeling a lot of glosses have. The shine is unreal. Think juicy, glass-like, mirror shine…the kind that has your lips looking like you just left your injector. 😂 My lips felt hydrated, and they never had that tacky feeling where your lips stick together.
I was sent three shades to test, and while the formula was consistent across the board, I definitely had favorites. The brown nude was my least favorite—it just didn’t flatter me the way I’d hoped. The other two, though? Gorgeous. They were flattering on their own, but I loved them even more paired with my favorite lip liners. They also layered beautifully with my other lip products without feeling heavy or gummy.

I love it! So hydrating and smooth. Not sticky. I love how you twist the gel out instead of squeezing! Just make sure to only twist the dial once. I accidentally twisted it too much and it ended up spilling out, so make sure to do it very sparingly! But overall I absolutely love it, makes my lips shiny and soft!

Level up your lip gloss

I generally don't go for a lip gloss because I don't enjoy the sticky feel that so many formulas leave. In contrast, the Maybelline Lifter Gel's oil-in-gel formula goes on smoothly without feeling tacky and leaves my lips feeling hydrated. Like any gel or gloss based formula, it isn't as long-wearing as a traditional lipstick or lip stain, but I find it to be relatively durable given the type of product it is. I like the slightly tinted options - they're great for a more natural look!

The formula of this lip oil is 1000 out of 10, it is very hydrating, not sticky at all and very shiny!!
For the shade Vanilla Horchata I love that is very pigmented and smells like vanilla! Ive got two other shades Mintini and Sugar Spritz, these are more transparent shade but still gives you shiny lips and each one smells different and sweet. I would say that if its the first time using it, be careful how much you twist the packaging because a lot of product can come out. Overall I love it.

Great affordable glosses!

These are such beautiful glosses that definitely changed my mind about lip gloss. I had never been a fan of lip gloss until the past couple of months. I had been testing out several different brands and although I did find some good ones many of them were still a bit too sticky for my liking. I love these maybelline ones, the colors are light bit you can still see a small amount of color on the lips. They feel so comfortable and are not sticky at all. I love the twisty mechanism it lets you control how much products comes out. Not to mention these are very affordable. If you are in search of a new lip gloss these are definitely worth checking out.

Nice lip product

Pros: scent is nice, the oil/gel formula feels good on my lips and provides a lovely shine. It doesn’t feel sticky.
Con: the actual taste of the product is awful. Obviously don’t purposely eat it but being on my lips it’s unavoidable. The tube could be better. It almost always causes too much product to dispense

My new favorite for juicy lips

I loved this lipstick. The color is beautiful and leaves a shiny gel-like finish, but without being sticky. The sensation on the lips is super moisturizing, light and the drop-shaped applicator makes application very easy. It lasts a long time and the vanilla smell is a plus.

I really appreciate the applicator on these! A regular squeeze tube invariably squishes too much out and gets messy quickly. This dispenses the perfect amount every time. The oil itself is lightweight and sheer with a smooth texture. The only scent is a natural oil scent. Unfortunately it is not long-lasting and disappears quickly.

This is a lip oil in gel and it feels very hydrating. I am not a fan of the vanilla horchata scent/flavor & packaging. I feel like I always dispense too much product. Other than that the look and smooth feel of the product on my lip is absolutely stunning and it's affordable.

Glosssyyy!! If you’re looking for a gloss with SHINE this is it! It doesn’t feel sticky and glides on lips like oil. It does have an interesting feel and taste to it but you get use to it. On the lips it is not lightweight at all but that’s not the point of lipgloss anyway. You do have to keep reapplying throughout the day to keep the glossy shine especially if you tend to move your lips a lot. However, it keeps lips moisturized when it’s worn off. Can’t wait to try other shades :)

Absolutely in love with this stunning Lifter Gel in the shade Vanilla Horchata. First of all it smells so good, like a sweet vanilla treat. The applicator feels really nice on the lips, although it is a bit tricky to dispense because if you click too many times, too much product comes out. The color is a stunning classy neutral and the texture is smooth and doesn't feel sticky. This gets 5 stars from me! My lips look plump and feel soft!

The Maybelline lifter gel has a nice shine and feels nice on the lips, but it wasn't really a standoff product. I felt like I would reach for other lippies instead. but the formula is super lightweight and like it's super easy to apply on your lips with the applicator. it's a good every day option if you like a simple gloss look.

Ok but not the best

Good but not great. It goes on smooth but leaves my lips feeling a little dry after it wears off. I was given 2 extra complimentary colors, but the clear and the pink don’t really look different once applied.

This is a very beautiful lipstick and color! color is a nice pink like color that is not to dark, is almost clear but with that little touch of pink, so you can use it in your daily routine. It is easy to lather on your lips and is not that thick but stays on your lips for long. Your lips are going to feel soft and they will look shinier. The applier for the lipstick gets you just exactly what you need to gloss your lips! Beautiful color!!

This lifter gel gloss is so smooth and almost creamy. It is not sticky or tacky. It has a wonderful scent and not only hydrates the lips, but keeps them shiny throughout the day. It does not transfer color to anything that I have drink out of. And there is a slight tint that comes with the other scents! It’s perfect for every day on the go where or if you just want to add a little shine over a lipstick. Definitely something that I like to keep in my bag every day.

I bought this lip oil in the color sugar spritz at target. I really liked the formula but couldn't get over the taste unfortunately. The color was cute, formula felt hydrating, and it didn't feel sticky at all. I really enjoyed how glassy it looked as well. I tried to wear it a few times but ultimately returned it :( Fav formulation I've tried so far at the drugstore regarding texture and finish, but it really tastes awful like soap/perfume. Hope a reformulation happens in the future.

This is fine. The consistency is a gel lip oil hybrid but I don’t feel like they last any longer than my favorite lip oils. The packaging is also kind of a mess. If you twist it too much the product just comes pouring out which causes unnecessary waste. The taste if it happens to get in your mouth is not good

These glosses are to die for. They’re more gel feeling not sticky on my lips which I love. I love the smell. It doesn’t last insanely long but on par with other glosses I own so no complaints. I love the light pink gel with a darker pink lip liner. The darkest mauve color makes for a cute 90’s vibe. One thing I will say is the applicator took me a moment to figure out and I used way to much product accidentally on my first application. Less turns are more!

I love this lifter gel!!!! The shine is there, it’s super light which is crazy!!! The application is super easy, I love how you can twist how much comes out and the top part is super clean and safe to use instead of a infected brush after a long use. The cap also stops the gel from come out more. The color is perfect! Right in the middle, plus the pigment is there and long lasting. NOT STICKY!!!! Smooth at finest, I will be using this everyday.

I wish the application was less messy

I love how this looks on the lips, but application wise, it’s annoying. You have to twist the top to get product flowing, but even though I would twist and wait to prevent overflow, once product starts coming out it just continues to slowly come out of the tip, inevitably getting it inside the cap once closed. I would have rated the product higher if the application wasn’t so messy. I think the product itself is good, but the packaging is in need of improvement.
I love the scents, how they look and feel on the lips, and the shine of these gels.

I have been loving every single shade of this gloss! The applicator is so incredible and the way it twists for the perfect amount everytime is impressive. I use at least 1 shade every single day. My go too is the Sugar Spritz (light pink) it’s great for everyday use. Date night or when I have a full face of makeup I love the Vanilla Horchata (brown) it adds the most beautiful tint of color and the Mintini (clear) compliments any look! There is no taste, the consistency is sticky but not like annoyingly more just normal gloss sticky. It feels weightless and I barely notice it’s on after application, it lasts so long for a gloss too! Overall seriously this is an everyday use for me!

The applicator is excellent because it’s easy to glide the product on my lips and I can easily clean the applicator head without impacting the product.
