I tried the lifter gloss and they left me impressed, they left my lips super soft with a juicy effect without feeling them sticky. It has a super comfortable applicator and the pigmentation is very good. I was using it today and I was surprised how long it lasted without falling off.

I am not a big fan of lip gloss, but decided to try this one. And unfortunately I am not satisfied, but only because of the taste of it. When you apply it on lips or if a little bit get to your mouth , it smells and taste terrible( something like chemicals). I am not happy about it. But the rest is perfectly fine. It’s glossy, not sticky, Texture is smooth. I like the shade looks like natural, almost transparent.

The Maybelline Lifter Gels are so good! The shine is really like glass lips! It’s a thicker formula in the best way because it smooths your lips and gives them that plush look. They are also hydrating and feel so good on the lips. I have a couple that are sheer and one with pigment and the pigmented mocha color is actually so pretty and not overboard. I do wish maybe different packaging because if you twist up a little too much it can make a mess but the formula is so good.

Gorgeous Color & Glossy Finish

I’m super impressed with these lip gels! I’ve been testing a few different colors and my favorite has been Sugar Spritz. It gives my lips a sheer pinky tint and smells faintly like watermelon. These gels apply smoothly and I love the plastic tip applicator so that the product is easy to use. The color lasts for a few hours (if you’re not heavily eating or drinking) and is not sticky and doesn’t bleed around the edges. The packaging is fun but it can be a little messy, sometimes it takes a little bit to come out so it’s easy to over-twist the tube and then too much product dispenses. It took some getting used to but I’ve got the hang of it now. I think these gels will be the perfect lightweight & glossy lip colors for the summer!

This formula feels lightweight and comfortable on the lips without being overly sticky which is a huge plus for me. It gives a beautiful glossy finish that makes lips feels fuller and healthier. I also noticed it feels hydrating, leaving my lips soft instead of dry after wearing it.

These lifter gel glosses smell lovely, they smell slightly sweet and floraly.. the formula is thick and rich leaving lips hydrated and glossy, they do transfer easily since it’s not a stain., It’s sheer and leaves a slight tint.. I highly recommend them for a natural look!

I really wanted to like these! The formula on this is nice, wouldn't really put it in the lip oil category because it does come out like a thicker gloss but it did make my lips feel nice. The colors are really pretty too! Onto the downside, this packaging is terrible! I love the applicator, but you have to twist the bottom to make the product come out and it was very hard to control. A lot of the times it would just keep coming out and I would have to wipe away the excess product, losing a great deal of it, before I put the cap back on-which also kept popping off and still got pretty messy. Perfect example of a good product with bad packaging.

Hydrating lip oil

The Maybelline, New York new lifter gel is an all in one formula. It provides a glass like shine with powerful 24 hour hydration for smoother lips and softer lips and just one week and it’s a bit too thick for me, unfortunately it doesn’t last long. I received three different shades, the passionfruit oil is my favorite.

This was a super cute lip gloss. It gives a tint of color without being overwhelming. It takes a long time to get the gloss up to the tip though so be careful about the delay your you’ll have a lot dispense out at once.

I was trying these lifter gel, I liked them a lot, I feel that it makes the lips look a little voluminous, the colors are beautiful, my favorite is the Horchata Vanilla color. They are easily removed and give a lot of shine to the lips. The only downside is that the mintini has an unpleasant taste.

The gloss is nice, but nothing revolutionary. The flavor and the scent are DISGUSTING. I doubt that “blue boba” is meant to taste so strongly of chemicals and soap. I will not be buying this again.

I got sugar spritz on a Walmart run and I actually like how it looks on my lips. It’s super glossy and it blurs lip lines. It’s supposed to be scented but there is absolutely no smell to it. While on, it sort of goes into your mouth. The taste is HORRENDOUS. it taste like burnt plastic if that makes sense. Just think of the smell but in your mouth. It is horrible and it’s too bad because maybe they could’ve added some sweet flavors and made it better instead of leaving it tasting like crap. I do not know if I’m gonna continue wearing this but just beware of the taste.

Go-to - has some flaws

I’ve been using the lifter gel for a few months now and it has become a go-to product for me. It has a gorgeous finish that leaves my lips looking plump, super glossy, and smooth without feeling tacky. The shades are beautiful but I definitely found the lighter shades more flattering and easier to work with. The scent also fits for the name of the shade. The applicator is angled to fit different application styles and has a cool twist-up delivery system that is unique and fun, but it took a loooong time to get the product flowing and it can be difficult to control exactly how much comes out. The biggest downside was the taste which is kinda perfume-like, but not an issue if I didn’t have too much product on.

I've always been more of a matte lipstick person, so trying these new Maybelline Lifter Gels was actually really fun for me. The formula feels lightweight and comfortable on the lips, almost like a lip oil, but with the shine and grip of a gloss. What surprised me the most is that they don't feel sticky, which is something | personally look for in lip products. I purchased two Sugar Spritz and Strawberry Shake. I honestly thought maybe the taste was just the “spritz” and went back out for the strawberry. The taste of both is soooo perfume-y that I had to wipe both off immediately. Will be looking at my stores policy to see if I can return both for refund.

It’s okay but smells weird

I have mixed feelings about this product. While I love how it feels and looks, I don’t like the smell of it or the weird almost stinging feeling of it. I’m thankful to have gotten to try it but I don’t think it’s for me. It is extremely glossy and pigmented with a smooth consistency and thicker tint and is pretty lightweight.
