If you’re an astrology fanatic, then let the zodiac inspire your Halloween look! This ethereal, air sign makeup is made for the Geminis, Libras, and Aquarius’ of the world. Using our new Into The Zodiac Collection, makeup artist Ashley Yaniz creates a shimmery sensation for the most spooktacular night of the year. Blown away? Start with your eyes. Instead of defaulting to eyeshadow, try adding color to your eyelids using a gel pencil eyeliner. For this look, you’ll want to use a silver shade and a teal shade to create silver-blue base.
Use a black gel pencil eyeliner to line the upper lash line, starting in the middle of the eye and working your way out towards the edge. Use an angled brush to smudge it out.
Layer a black liquid liner overtop of the line you just created and flick it out and then in towards the eye to create a negative space wing.
Dab a matte foundation around the eye sockets to create an even canvas for the rest of the eye look. Ashley applies her foundation with a damp sponge. Dot concealer around the under eye areas of your face to brighten and rejuvenate.
Line your bottom lash line with a pink eyeshadow shade, buffing and blending it out. Add that same shade to your brow bone just above the silver/blue base.
Brush the color from your silver eyeliner onto a thin makeup brush and create an outline of a cloud around your eye. Pro tip: creating your outline with a makeup brush first gives you the most control over the product!
Sharpen your silver eyeliner for the finest point possible then trace over the outline you just created to intensify the look. Next, create your second outline.
Use the same matte foundation to even out the bottom portion of your face and build it up to full coverage. Then, set your face makeup with a face powder and add bronzer for extra warmth and color.
