Love this stuff.
Admittedly, it took me a few times to find my groove... a lot of product comes out on the wand, so I have to scrape the vast majority of it back into the tube before applying it. Not a big deal as I'd rather there be plenty of product in the tube!
The other thing I have found to be helpful is to brush the eyebrows well with a clean brush after application. That helps to get any excess residue or tiny clumps off and softens the eyebrow hairs again to their natual looking state, but does so without taking the color off. And I must say, the latter is what really impressed me. I figured that the brushing would remove a lot of the color, but I was proven wrong.
The product stays on well all day and gives very good coverage for sparse eyebrows like mine. The additional bonus is that it's half the cost of another product that I have been using (Boy Brow). I was getting quite annoyed at paying a ridiculous price for a skimpy amount of product. Shameful, really. So, when I was at my local CVS, I saw this Maybelline product and decided to give it a try. So glad I did! It works better than Boy Brow, can be found at my local store, and it's a way better price.
What more could you ask for?

Affordable Dupe!!

I bought this brow mascara in the black brown shade looking for a more affordable dupe of a more expensive brand that I used to purchase in the hopes that this product would work just as good. This product does work just as good! Because the spoolie is slightly different, it did take a couple of practice runs to get my desired look in filling in my eyebrows, but I'm very pleased with this product. I don't like overly sculpted eyebrows that look like everyone else's on social media. I prefer my eyebrows on their natural shape, but they're thin with a few sparse areas, so I much prefer to just fill them in to look fuller and natural. I've been able to achieve my desired look with a more adorable price point. One last thing to note, I have oily skin, and this brow mascara stays put all day without getting weird, which is a huge plus! Highly recommend this product.

No brow, just a mess

Express Brow does not work. Look at the example on the package and try to use it. All you get is an awful looking mess, a little blob at the start then just a mess of uneven streaks and bare skin. It’s hard to describe just how useless it truly is. Why would you even sell this?

Awful. Bring back discontinued brow products!

Bring back your discontinued brownies. The new ones are awful. The tattoo brow studio gel was by far the best brow gel on the market for those of us who don’t have brows. It was superior. These new products have confusing branding and are just flat out horrible and now I’m forced to buy the discontinued items on eBay. Stick with your loyal customers and stop trying to chase new customers

Miss my old eyebrow makeup

My eyebrow makeup was discontinued by Maybelline and so I tried this gel in its place. The problem is i don't have enough hair at the front of my eyebrows in the center to make this work. On the parts of my eyebrow where there's hair it goes on nice. But when you're trying to make eyebrows that no longer exist because you overplucked them from the early 2000s and hair doesn't grow I really need the applicator tip back that came with the tattoo studio waterproof brow gel that has been discontinued.

Disappointing

Personally found unpleasant. This was my first brow gel and definitely not what I hoped it would be. I was so excited when I first got it and was sorely disappointed after use. Didn't dry and didn't set eyebrows in place. Also felt a slight burning. I do not recommend.

Covers Gray Hair Completely and Stays On

Maybelline Brow Express is wonderful! I am over 60 and have tough gray eyebrow hair. This product covers my gray completely! The color matches my natural color. Also, Express Brow stays on even in the severe, summer desert heat in Arizona. I sweat! The color stays on and does NOT bleed. But at the end of the day, it washes off easily. I have tried other products but I am 100% satisfied with Maybelline Brow Express.

Light Blonde is the perfect color

This is the only brow gel I have found that I like and the only color that works for me. The gel looks so natural and is the perfect color. I have blonde hair and there is not another brand I can find that makes a color light enough for my needs. I have noticed that stores around me are no longer carrying this product in light blonde. Please don’t discontinue this color. I love it and can’t find anything to replace it.

Don’t buy.

The formula sucks it’s patchy. Oily yet chunky. I believe the products intention was for soap brows because it’s on trend however, it does not achieve that effect. I only bought this product because the tattoo brow and the soft brown that I typically use is no longer sold at any store in my area. I have yet to find a product that matches and exceeds my love for that product which I have used for almost a decade.

Not A Good Formula OR Applicator

I feel the applicator doesn't even hold enough product for my to get through even half my brow. The formula did absolutely nothing for my eyebrows at I applied only a few hours ago. Paying almost $11 for this tiny tube when I can buy Elf clear brow gel in a 2-pack for a dollars under that and the quality? This product is not worth and will not be purchasing again.

Clumps Ugh!!

PLEASE bring back the previous version of Brow Drama Sculpting Eyebrow Mascara. This new tinted gel formula is heavier/clumpier/flakes off. The old version was far superior and had buildable color. The new TINY applicator is harder to use. I am using the old wand which is far better, but the gel is definitely not as good. I'll be shopping for a replacement brand when I can no longer find the original.

Bring back the Brow Precise Fiber Volumizer!

I've tried various other products from Maybelline and other brands and NOTHING else works. It's so frustrating and I hate wasting money trying new products over and over. The Fiber Volumizers I buy online from third parties are starting to arrive dried out (or get there quick) and I don't know what I'm going to do. You literally can't see my eyebrows without it!

Lasted my ENTIRE labor

This brow mascara lasted through over 24 hours of labor and almost 4 hours of pushing. Two nurses even complimented my brows while delivering. I will never use another product, this is it for me!

Will Buy Cases of the Old Version

PLEASE bring back any previous version of Brow Drama Sculpting Eyebrow Mascara. I didn't know it was discontinued & I'm paying $30 for old version of soft brown from online marketplaces. I use every day. This new tinted gel formula is heavier/clumpier/flakes off and not natural looking. Old version was so quick, easy, natural, and buildable color darkness. The new TINY applicator is harder to use. I tried using my own wand that is adult size, but the gel is nowhere as good. If this is the same tinted gel formula, something is wrong with the bottle. I tried 6 different bottles of this to ensure I didn't just get a dud, but all were clumpy and heavy. Loyal user of this product for decades and adapted to changes with the applicator wand/spoolie over time, like when the ball was added to the end of the spoolie wand applicator. I remained loyal and ended up loving the ball at the end of the applicator because it applied the gel on the brow hairs better. I could swipe it on fast & light or swipe it on fast & build layers of color to make darker dramatic brows when wanted. I am so lost now. I want to remain loyal to Maybelline, but I can't find a way to make this work. More expensive brands were not as good as the previous versions of Maybelline's Brow Drama Sculpting Eyebrow Mascara, and I will pay a higher price to get the old version back!

This does nothing for my sparse brows. The now discontinued Brow Precise Fiber Volumizer was my go-to and helped fill in gaps. The tattoo studio product you recommended to the other reviewer who complained about BPFV being discontinued is also a waste of money.

Love the Brow Fast Sculpt

I really like the Brow Fast Sculpt brow mascara. I prefer it to the Tatoo Brow Gel. I am 65 but still have a good set of brows and have not yet grayed. I wear the Blonde color and it makes my brows show up more and the color doesn't smear if touched.

Balls in the wrong place

This product is miss leading. When you shake it you think it's mixing real good. But in reality it doesn't do anything, the shake balls are in the brush portion which it's not doing nothing. I do have a video but it won't let me send it. Thanks for listening . This is miss leading.

A little goes a long way!

I've been using this for the last few months and there is a bit of a learning curve. The brush has two different sides and the key is to use gentle short strokes. If you put it on like a brow stick you're going to get to much product. It holds up well all day!

I too was upset that brow drama was discontinued. I had to get something so tried this mid priced brow product of Maybelline. It's excellent. The color goes on smoother and easier than brow drama and covers all my white brows. Just take your time and apply slowly and carefully. I was in a hurry and excited to try it and got some on my skin and had to take everything off to start over. Excellent coverge and easy to apply.
