Ten dollars for a product that doesn’t even last a week?! I try to twist the brow pencil to use, come to find out it does not give you more! I am outraged! Ten dollars for 1.5mm worth of brow pencil. Will not be purchasing any Maybelline brow products again.

Hi there, great question! Those are 2 different brow liners so the formulas are different. While the color Blonde is essentially the same in both formulas, it may appear slightly different because the Express Brow Ultra Slim Defining Eyebrow Pencil and the Express Brow 2-In-1 Eyebrow Pencil + Powder are different. One is a very slim liner crayon for precise definition and the other features a wider defining liner and a powder on the other end for smoothing and fills gaps in the brow.

Where Have You Been?!

I have moderate to severe hair loss, so I have lost part of my eyebrows. I have tried every kind of product from pomades to stamps to decals (for years!) and I finally found this brow pencil that is perfect for me! It takes me just a couple of minutes to apply, and it looks way more natural on me than anything else I’ve tried. I love that it’s a small point that you turn out only what you need, and the spoolie on the other end blends it smoothly when I’m done! I never could find the right color for me until I found this, it’s perfect, not too dark or reddish. I hope you never stop making this product. Thanks!

Is the only pencil color what you get when you open it? I tried to see if you rotate any end to get more but couldn't figure out a way to do this - this is quite expensive if you can't get more pencil than the tip!

Love the pencil, but not enough in it

I love the pencil, but as one mentioned with a discontinued color, I have to buy 2 shades, the blonde and then go over with the soft brown afterwards. I have reported by phone though, that it seems on the blonde shade, when applying as stated, it always seems to have a small end of it break off, and so I never get much usage out of it for the amount of money I spend on it.

I absolutely love this stuff, it’s a great dupe for an expensive brand I used to use. BUT you guys quit making warm brown!!! Soft brown is way too harsh for my hair/skin combo. Blonde is way too light. We peeps with red tones in our hair need warm brown! I gave two stars only because my color no longer exists.

Happiness ends in tragedy

I purchased your Express Brow Ultra Slim Pencil in medium brown and I LOVED it! The color was perfect and it applied so nicely - smooth application of even fine lines. The brush blended the liner perfectly. It was EXACTLY what I've been searching for! Then tragedy stuck. I turned my pencil over to brush out my brows and the "lead" fell right out of the pencil! Now I don't have the perfect brow liner and as of right now, I don't plan on replacing it with another Express Brow Ultra Slim Pencil. Why would I take the chance of this happening again? I'd only used the pencil about five times. That's not a very good value for my money. ☹️
So there you have it. My tragic tale's been shared.

This is literally the only brow product I found that works for my skin. This eyebrow pencil will last you through anything. I have no eyebrows so I draw them on with this pencil and it looks so good and natural. My skin is oily and this stays on doesn’t turn greasy I can even swim with this product on. It’s so good that every time I go into a store it’s always sold out. I’ve tried your new brow extreme pencil it’s a no it does not last at all and turns greasy or doesn’t look natural. Please do not get rid of this pencil. This pencil is so amazing that when I got to the store and see that it’s in stock I buy them all. Doesn’t even break when you apply it.

What a waste of money! I loved the color & application - but when week one was done and I tried to twist it for more, there was no way to do that. It appears no one from Maybelline actually wears this product or they would realize this immediately. Quality of the product was awesome - worst dispenser ever. I want my money back!

The product itself is fine. There was no way to twist the product up. I was only able to use the short tip amount. So it lasted a week. This was very misleading and I am deeply disappointed.

I've looked for years for something that I could use on my brows that was easy and looked good. The Brow Ultra Slim is the best I've ever found. I hope you don't quit making it!! It gives such great control...no over doing it.

Bring back the old pencil!

I have been using this product for years and have loved how easy it is to make your brows look precise and filled in. Within the last couple months there has been a noticeable change in the quality. It is much lighter than it used to be and takes me 3 times longer just to get it somewhat shaded in. It never fully has the completely filled in look that I go for and the color is much more ashy. I am so sad that this product changed and that I will have to do some searching for a new pencil that will give me the old formula's results.

This has replaced my SEPHORA COLLECTION Retractable Brow Pencil - Waterproof and Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz! The deep brown shade is a neutral dark brown that blends well into my black brows without darkening them too much. Its super slim and slightly harder formula makes it easy for fine lines or shading in sparse areas. Once it sets, its water resistant and smudge/rub resistant. I am ambivalent about the spoolie but look at how much product you get! Love!
