Worst setting spray ever.
a year ago
Super oily it was like I sprayed make up remover all over my perfectly finished make up. Left weird grease dots that would not dry and when I tried to eventually soak it up with a sheer powder and brush it began removing the make up leaving weird brush marks and left me looking crazy. I wasn’t going anywhere so I left the make up as is and as the hours went on it was like it was melting off of me and could not touch face at all without it completely smearing off. Throwing in the trash. Worst setting sprayed I’ve ever encountered.
No, I do not recommend this product.

I really like how lightweight this feels! It doesn’t feel sticky at all and does the job! Smells really nice so if you don’t like fragrance just keep in mind. It does make my makeup look dewy and natural! I would recommend spraying before your foundation and after for a longer lasting result. I think it comparable to high end makeup up spray!

i have dry to combo skin and this setting spray is my new holy grail!!!! i recommend it to my subscribers on my channel CONSTANTLY!!!! i love it so much! im currently on my 3 rd bottle haha it last a long time tho bc you don't need a lot. 1 -2 sprays does your whole face and gives you a beautiful glass like effect without being greasy or overly tacky.

While I did like the product and the dewy finish it gave, the product never dries completely down, remaining tacky on your skin. I find that it worked better for me as a primer or a base. I also wore it a few times by itself for a little glow but you have to be careful because a heavy hand can leave you looking greasy or oily. Overall I like it and I can't be mad at the shininess because it's literally called Glass Spray. Using it as a setting spray didn't seem to make my makeup last throughout the day but again, using it as a base definitely worked better for me and lasted longer.

I thought for my dry/combo skin this works, I wouldn’t say it’s necessarily hydrating but did seem to make my skin with makeup on look dewy. My skin felt fine and had no negative reactions which is good as I do have sensitive skin and I really appreciate the no fragrance in the ingredients. Pretty great drugstore find!

I don't like any kind oily, greasy, or sticky products on my face. As soon as I got this I had a feeling it wasn't going to be for me. You have to shake the bottle in order for the oil to mix with the other liquid then spray on your face. My face felt gross and I was hoping that maybe after it dried down that feeling would go away. Nope. When I went to put my mascara on I saw that it had made my eyeshadow crease which never happens to me! By the end of the day I looked and felt like a mess. I couldn't wait to wash my face. Giving it 2 stars because maybe it was user error and I applied too much, but as for now it's a no go for me......

I’ve been on the journey to achieve glass skin lately, and if you are too, this is an excellent product to step up your glass skin game! The finish is subtle & dewy, and it’s not too sticky either. If you already have oily skin or live in a place with a lot of humidity, this may not be the best for you as it can get a little shiny. There is a slight chemical smell, but it dissipates quickly. Make sure you shake it (per the directions), otherwise the spray doesn’t come out fine like mist, but more with small droplets, which can make it hard to distribute evenly and ruins the “glass” shine & illusion. I also think the effects are lost after a few hours, but it’s nice & portable for touch-ups. Overall, great results for a a little something extra over your makeup or bare skin!

Not a fan of the dewy look

My skin gets very shiny easily, so when I look for a finishing spray I generally look for something mattifying. I can't see myself reaching for this product often, due to the fact that it leaves a dewy finish, but if that were a look I went for, it would be a good product. You also get a lot of product for a relatively low price tag.

This spray is nice to use when you want to refresh your look or just spritz on a fresh face and go about your day. When used on a full face of makeup, it held for a couple of hours but my makeup still became greasy.

I really wanted to like this spray, but I’m less of a dewy finish gal, and more of a matte gal. I used this and my face felt a bit greasy. I tried it with a full face and more of a natural look, but it wasn’t better either way. I’m just naturally more on the oily side in the summer. I think that while this didn’t hit the mark for me, it will likely be a favorite for others. Additionally, I’ll give this another try in the winter since I tend to be more dry. Overall, no issues with the product. It’s very nice, smells good, and does what it’s supposed to do.

I received this in my voxbox to review. I love this spray. I have used it daily! I love glassy, dewy skin. I spray this throughout my makeup application and later in the day to freshen up. I used this both before and after applying my make-up on separate occasions and LOVED both results. When using it before my foundation (almost as a primer), it hydrated my skin and had that dewey feel that allowed my foundation powder to sit nicely on my face for a nice natural look. When using it after applying all the make-up I was going to use for that day, it set my make-up very nicely and lasted for hours!I had been looking for the perfect setting spray that sets my make-up and lasts all day and I believe I found it. This spray promised glassy skin and it definitely delivered. I normally prefer a more matte/satin finish for everyday wear since my T zone gets oily but I will definitely use it again for selfies/makeup photos. Looks very fresh over makeup or bare skin! Not too greasy with a natural shiny finish, and nice sized bottle for an affordable price.

Held my make up pretty well. I am oily so I was worried it would make me look too shiny but it did not. My make up lasted for my whole work shift without having to retouch. I don't think I would purchase it because I do like more of a matte finish.
