I got the lip plumper, and wow, it really plumps up your lips! I didn't realize it's mixed with chili peppers – you can definitely taste it! It does leave your lips feeling more than tingly for quite a while.

Tingly but not painful! Color is super pretty. The gloss itself is not sticky and is very comfortable to wear. I think it helps a bit to plump but the effect does not last very long.

I have tried other lip plumpers and never had a reaction as I did with the lifter plump. I developed blisters on my lips and just under my lower lip. My lips look terrible! I also swallowed my saliva and my throat tingled for more than 10 minutes and water didn’t help! I usually don’t leave bad reviews, but I do not have sensitive skin so I’m shocked this happened to me.

Extreme burn with no benefit!! Why? As someone who usually loves maybelline products I bought 2 of these lipglosses. They were so disappointing. My lips were on fire but the product did absolutely nothing at all to plump any fine lines or look fuller. A complete waste of $26 + tax.

It is easy to apply. It goes on clear and stays clear. I expected it to go on and look like the color shown in the bottle. It never changed the appearance of my lips. My lips did not plump.

Im convinced that the people who left the reviews have never tried the regular lift plump available. I tried it out of curiosity but truly curiosity has killed the cat. This chili pepper gloss makes me feel like i just ate a 10 piece buffalo wing. I hate it. Dislike it. Glad you have ppl who like it. Imma hold your hand when i say this. Dont make this no more

Allergic reaction & burning your lips

Terrible! This is burning your lips like crazy. I am actually surprised something like is even sold! The burning lasted for hours, even when the product was wiped off, and as a “bonus” at the end of the day I noticed I got allergic reaction from it- small pimples on my lips.

What a mistake!

This product is a big fail. If you don’t know anything about it, and you just see the big letters on the tube that say Lifter PLUMP, you’ll assume this product will give you luscious, fuller lips. Instead, you get pain, not the “tingling” sensation that the marketing folks would have you believe.
The color is too sheer and lackluster.
It’s greasy, and does not dry on the lips.
There was no visible “plumping” of my lips.
The tingling warning on the tube is so small it’s impossible to read, and the signage at the store was not informative.
I hope this item is returnable as I cannot use it. I’d give it a zero if I could.

This lipgloss seriously burns! I’ve used lip pumping products since I can remember, and I’ve never had anything burned like this. It’s like eating spicy food and getting it on your lips. I do like the packaging and I like the texture of the gloss. It’s not sticky and it doesn’t settle and fine lines, but I don’t know if I would purchase again.

Too spicy for comfort

I inadvertently locked my lips. Not only did my tongue and lips burn for, so far, 25 minutes it also ruined the taste of my drink. While I like the color I don’t see any plumping effect. Will not use again!

I love a good plumping lip gloss. This one definitely felt like it was plumping. I will know if you are sensitive to the tingling of a lip plumper, this is not the one for you. I typically don't mind it and this did not bother me much but because it was way more tingly than others I gave it a 4 star. Appears beautifully with the lip liners and didn't seep into my fine lines. It has a good price point also. I would have taken pictures of it on me, but my Melasma is out of control this summer.

This lipgloss gives me gorgeous shiny lips. The chili pepper oil helps my lips look fuller and more plump. I don’t wear it every day because it does burn for a bit after application but that is as expected from the chili oil. The plumping effect lasts for hours and I love the way it makes my lips look!!

I got this free in exchange for an honest review. This lifter plump definitely has some spice to it making your lips tingly immediately once you put it on. I could feel it working away for sure. Definitely make sure you don’t accidentally rub it on your fingers and then your eye. Ha. My lips feel shiny and a little plumper when wearing it. Not sure if I’ll wear it all the time just due to all the spicy feeling in my lips .

I absolutely loved this product! It genuinely exceeded my expectations, plumped my lips to the max, and had the cutest boxy Bratz vibe with the packaging, which personally I was obsessed with! I would say I have more than average plumped lips regularly, this product made it look like I had filler! It was very spicy and tingly in the beginning but paid off, would recommend!
