My favorite lip product isn’t the same anymore

I’ve been using this product for a long time, and it has always been my favorite lip product. For the past several months, I’ve been buying it from different stores hoping to find a good one, but every single one I’ve purchased recently has had almost no pigment. It looks more like a clear gloss than the beautiful vinyl lip color it used to be.
I’m really disappointed because I used to love the formula, the shades, the shine, and how long it lasted. Now I honestly don’t know what to do because I can’t seem to find one that works the way it used to. I really hope Maybelline looks into this, because this was truly my go-to lip product.

Pigment left the oil smh

After few months pigment was gone and it separated with the oil. I got a new one last December, I hope pigment won’t fade this time. But will update this review on June, giving it 6 mos coz that’s what happened to the old one. Now, I’m using the old one as lip gloss 🤷🏼♀️

This is as close to perfect that I have found. It is true it does stay put. My only downside is that it's sticky, I can deal with that. I bought Wicked and love the color.now I need a pink.

My husband gifted me a superstay vinyl ink today, I don't ever suffer from dry lips, now after using it for less than 3 hours, my lips are dry and cracked. I did not like it at all, and won't be using it again.

I love this lipstick and have it in 8 colors. I have been wearing it 5 times a week for well over a year. I have started getting a lip rash immediately after applying it recently and unfortunately must stop using it.

Inconsistent product quality

I bought one shade and loved it applied great and was just as long wear as promoted. I bought to others and was disappointed- they had different results the one was much stickier and the other color wicked was more of a fuscia pink than a nice blue tone red lipstick and very sticky and didn’t dry. Product quality not consistent with colors.

If I could give less than one star I would. This product does not dry, the entire day it feels sticky on your lips. I have tried blotting it to take the sticky out and it doesn't work. Totally disappointed!

Great First Impression, Poor Performance Over Time

At first, I loved this lipstick. The pigmentation was amazing, with a bold color and a beautiful vinyl-like finish that looked perfect. But over time, that changed.
After just a few months, I noticed the color payoff started to fade. It felt more like a tinted gloss than a long-wear lipstick. One of the shades I own even developed clumps, no matter how much I shook it or tried to mix it. Something in the formula just isn’t holding up.
I honestly feel disappointed. I was so excited about it at first, but now I feel a bit scammed. It didn’t even last a full year in good condition. I expected way more for the price.

Wow! I havent worn lipstick in 15 yrs due to fine lines, the lipstick crawls outwards on every one! My daughter is getting married and i cant show up bared faced. I read reviews on all long wears and this one was the best for longevity, feel, and shine so I got composer matt and royal vinyl. Both are fab although i always lean towards the darker side. The wear is phenomenal and, lines? Well, they arent eliminated entirely and I dont mind them cause after all im not 40 anymore. But the lipstick stays exactly where I put it. Im thinking composer and top it with royal. It indeed looks like vinyl! I couldnt be happier!

Did I get a bad batch???

I have five different colors in this product. I love the formula and how it looks. However, when I bought 25 RED HOT everything changed. I shake sans apply like the others, but this one goes on differently. It dries patchy, clumps up on my lips, and covers my teeth. (Btw, super stay on your teeth isn’t easy to remove) What gives? Did it expire before I opened it?

Not the color I'm looking for

I love the Matte Ink and have at least 20 different ones. I tried the Vinyl Ink and most are great. (though they don't seem to last as long as the Matte Ink) The problem is with the shade, Lippy. As it's shown here I expected a wine red or cranberry red similar to the Matte Ink shades Pioneer or Founder. What I received was a terracotta color more like Amazonian than anything else. Overall I'd recommend this product. Just remember Lippy is a dark nude

I was recently #GiftedbyMabelline a Super Stay Vinyl Ink in the color Pathfinder. This is the most creamy and color saturated lip product I have ever tried. Fabulous dupe of a Lancome product except this is better. The Vinyl gloss gives excellent color payoff with a comfortable feel. Perfect applicator, not too big not too small. I just realized my perfect shade Dainty is no longer available. Please recommend a replacement shade.

I use this lipstick for colorguard and let me tell you, it has been through it. Sweat, rain, hail, wind, tears, or food, and even just wear throughout the day, this lipstick has not failed me yet!! Very easy to get off too! Just use a makeup wipe or something and it comes off easily!
