Company/department Changes Need Reconsideration

Please have color names and color numbers together on the tubes and on the websites. The lack of this info makes finding what customers are trying to locate unnecessarily difficult and time consuming; judging from reviews, I'm not the only one.
Of the colors that you've kept, one I have habitually bought is now MUCH darker making it no longer useable for me. Better for long-time loyal customers is to keep the original and make the new "improved" version with a different name and number.
All my personal favorites are discontinued, and the suggested replacement colors are not as similar as the marketing department suggests. I resent the expensive box of rejected colors I've been forced to try. Judging from the reviews, I'm not the only one unhappy; and few people bother to contact you. Likely, those who take the time to write or call represent many more. Shade matters. Long-time customers are long term because they are happy with the product; change the product and it changes the choices as you're surely well aware. Even people who habitually shop their favorite store/vendor/manufacturer will at a minimum check out other options beyond the original source.
Why not continue the shades that so many of your long-time loyal customers are unhappy to loose?? The unnecessary intentional loss has foolishly created GREAT opportunities for your competitors (Chanel, CoverGirl, Revlon, Stila, and numerous other excellent product vendors) as you purposely DRIVE AWAY your long-time loyal customers. In what way is this company decision beneficial to Maybelline or to your long-time customers?
Yes, young people are entering the cosmetic shopping fray and certainly can make up for the loss of your exiting long-time customers; but why not capitalize on having BOTH markets? Especially because in today's world you can easily offer buying directly rather than relying upon big box stores with limited space.
People experimenting like to shop in person; everyone else likes to just get what they want/need easily. Even your newest young customers will eventually settle upon favorites and prefer to just order it. When that becomes impossible, you've lost your potential reliable future long-time loyal customers.
Is no other cosmetic company doing this? Great, you'll be ahead of the losers with generations of loyal customers. (other forward thinking industries are doing this, why not you)

Been my favourite lipstick for years. I don't understand the purpose of lipstick that comes off. Make sure to use the ChapStick so it's comfortable to wear. I've introduced a bunch of friends to this and they all love it as well.
Please make this in black. I promise you'll have a consistent customer base in the goth community with this product in a black. Some of us are making do with the purples and reds, but for most folks it's black or bust.

My absolute FAVORITE lip product. I love shades 055, 155, and 140. The BEST. Doesn’t crease, doesn’t get dry like most others, stays all day, if you over line it looks great and natural still. I’ve been using it for years! (The only thing I don’t use is the white stick on the other side of it but the lip colors and textures themselves are fantastic 10/10.

Great... but they discontinued my color.

I have been using this for years. I absolutely love it. I get tons of compliments and then I can tell them you make it. But, this is the second time in my decades long association with it that they have discontinued the color. They do this seemingly randomly while claiming its because of fashion and or sales. Bull. I used Pink Goes On but the pink line they have replaced it with all have shimmer elements. No just plain color. I'm so so so disappointed. My hope is that I can find another brand to switch to this time. One that understands if someone is loyal to a product, the producer ought to be loyal to that customer.

Great product but you got rid of my favorite color

I have used this since it came out! At first these came w a clear liquid gloss then they came out w these. I was so relieved to see them come back better than ever. Now I see Reliable Raspberry has been discontinued. Why? So many terrible colors stayed & you got rid of a 20 + year favorite. Ive tried practically every new lippie you come out with & i use some now but always go back to this 24 hr liquid lip. Bring back my color please. Theres nothing in your line that quite compares. I need my reliable raspberry back. Didnt even get a warning to try & stock up. WHY??? I use many colors & mix them too but i need my 20 + year favorite color back. PLEASE. PLEASE PLEASE. Reliable Raspberry. And dont tell me wildb we rry or that magenta is comoarable either....NOT. So many terrible colors should have been chopped before mine. Bring it back bring it back bring it back

Terrible Flavor all day- Smells like Body Perfume

The color is beautiful, but the taste completely ruined it for me- it tastes like literal body perfume!! This is an all-day lipstick that comes with the balm and they both taste like perfume! I wore it for hours and the taste never went away- just constant perfume taste. I want my money back- it's getting returned.
Their Vinyl lipstick was much worse- it smelled like medicinal cherry mixed with body perfume- i couldn't even handle the smell. Their Teddy Tint- same problem with the perfume scent & taste. I went from one Maybelline lip product to another in the hopes that I could find a long wear lip product with either no flavor or fragrance, or at least have a decent actual flavor made for lips, but no! I wanted to try their Matte lip product but I have a feeling it will also taste or smell like body perfume as well, so I'll have to look for another brand. For $13, they shouldnt be using some cheap fragrance or flavor, especially for a lip product.
How about not adding any perfume/fragrance to lip products? And if they must, why not add a decent flavor like vanilla or strawberry. I love the Burt's Bees formulas and the fact that they add natural flavors or none at all, even in their lipsticks, so that they are pleasant if you taste or smell them- thats why so many people like them.
I've seen many customer complaints with Maybelline's lip products regarding the smell and taste- now I know what they mean! Hopefully Maybelline will listen and improve their formula.

The best transfer proof lipstick - limited colors

This lipstick is the best superstay lipstick on the market. I've been using it since it first came out. Its a shame they dont promote this product more to the Gen Z group. ALSO PLEASE BRING BACK THE ENTIRE COFFEE COLLECTION! Those were the best colors. If I was your marketing manager for this product I would be on TikTok with that Coffee Collection showing people how you can mix shades and get the most beautiful colors. The current color palette is just lacking in the warm brown tones. Less pearlescent colors - more matte and create new colors. You could sell this to all the young girls with fake lips that have no idea how amazing this lipstick is!

Too much lipstick left in TUBE due to APPLICATOR!

The lipstick is great. However, cannot find #915 Sultry Amber which I have used for years????? WHAT CONCERNS IS HOW MUCH LIPSTICK YOU CANNOT USE BECAUSE OF NOT GETTING THE REMAING LIPSTICK OUT THE TUBE .... IT'S ALOT! I'VE SPENT A LOT OF MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT. NEVER SEEN THIS MUCH LIPSTICK LEFT IN TUBE BECAUSE APPLICATOR DOESN'T TOUCH IT!!!!! THE PRICE HAS DEFINITELY INCREASED. CAN YOU PLEASE ADDRESS THIS ISSUE??

WHY did you change 115 Forever Chestnut formula?!

Have been wearing 115 Forever Chestnut forever but I haven't been able to find it in the original formula (they changed it....it's a terrible pink now....so sad). The original formula was a coppery, rusty brown and just perfect for me. There are already a million shades of pink....PLEASE bring back the original!

The ONLY lipstick I use!

I have so many colors—this is THE only lipstick I use and have been using for over 10 years. I have never found any other stay-on lip colors that use BALM instead of GLOSS (I detest gloss!!). I do wish they had a little more balm—I consistently run out of that way before the colors. I’ve gotta have ‘em all!!

I love this product and have been using it a minimum of 10 years. The problem is that I find a color I love then have difficulty finding it again. On your site you list colors but on the lipstick, you can't read the color only without a magnifying glass and can't read it at all if it is worn off. You can read the color # on the tube but have to order it by color name making the # of the color useless unless you get it from a store who seems to be out of that color all the time. this is all dumb on your marketing end so fix it! I give the product 5 stars the customer service for ordering a ZERO. So... I averaged your score to 2.5 and since I'm irritated at this continuous problem I'll round down to 2 stars.

Disappointed!

Certainly doesn’t last! I decided to try this because what I had been using (L’Oréal) was discontinued. I put this on in the morning & it barely lasted thru lunch. At the end of the day, just a little remained around the outside. Very disappointed.

Super stay lipstick

I just bought this lady Friday. August 7 th. I followed how to put it on. But it don’t stay on for 24 hours. Maybe at the most, 8 hours. But then even then. Just my outer mouth has lipstick. Looks I’m wearing lipliner, awful. The rest is gone.
