I love this product

I’m 66 and have been in menopause which has caused my hair and eyebrows to thin. This is incredibly easy to use and natural looking if you have some brows to work with. Please never discontinue. There are woman like me who don’t want to deal with drawing eyebrow strokes daily.

Hi there Stfp, we are so sorry for the 'hide and seek' experience you’re having with the powder end of the Express Brow 2-In-1 Eyebrow Pencil + Powder. To reload the sponge tip with powder, wriggle it a bit as you re inserting it into its cap and close tightly. This will reload a bit more of the powder onto the sponge tip for the next application.

No powder in the product but the pencil is great

Not sure if I like this or not, there was the any powder in my product and I honestly thought I wasn’t using it correctly. Nope, not the case, no powder at all but the pencil is very good (IMO) it’s better than Anastasia for what I use it for. I’d love to try the powder too..hello Maybelline…can you help me out? Please and thank you!

The powder is the thing

The pencil is so-so. I find it often crumbles, even with the most feathery of touches, and I end up having to clean up the crumbs. That powder, however, makes my brows look amazing and lasts all day, even when the rest of my makeup is dewy. The powder is easy to use, and I can fill in the fuller inside of the brow as well as the finer tail with the shape of the applicator.
Please do not discontinue this product!

Never any powder - in 6 purchases!

I have purchased at least 6 of these...I love the pencil side of this product, however, the powder has NEVER come out - even after shaking, and pumping it! Packaging is false advertising IMO, for I have never seen the amount, nor ANY, powder as pictured.

No negatives. It’s easy, soft and smooth, looks natural. Great for older eyebrows that have lost their fullness. I’m switching to this after having used the compact and brush eyebrow powder for decades

Q: What shade of express brow duo 2 in 1 is closest to ash brown? All the other shades do not suit me. I’ve tried soft brown but it’s still a bit too dark and I don’t want anything that has a reddish hue to it.

Q: Looked at brow filler products, one with powder, one with "fibers". Nowhere on package did I find any assurance these had been tested as safe around eyes. These fillers could easily migrate into (my) sensitive eyes. Did I miss something?
