Wand sucks

I used the regular bubble mascara and decided to try the waterproof. It’s absolute trash compared the first one. And did yall change the wand?? It makes my eyelashes so chunky and makes them look stubby when they are a pretty decent length.
No, I do not recommend this product.

So dissapointed :(

Was so excited to finally try this out, as I usually love all maybelliene products. I was expecting so much more from this. It’s not buildable its formula is entirely too wet and comes out in huge clumps. Makes my lashes look like short, stubby spider lashes. And I have naturally long lashes , very disappointed and dissatisfied with this mascara:(

Flakes and clumps. Do not recommend unless clumps and flakes are your thing, then I would highly recommend that you enjoy your mascara in your eye you weirdo 😜

In all fairness in the last few years I've noticed an extreme decline in the effectiveness of mascara in general. Not sure what happened to y'all's formula but this just isn't it. It leaves lashes clumped up like the mascara is 5 years old or something. It should have a consistency that allows you to apply it evenly and smoothly.

Ugh, that is a total New York nightmare! There is nothing worse than thinking you've got "waterproof" protection, only to look in the mirror and see those dreaded "mascara stamps" all over your eyelids just from a normal day out. At Maybelline, we want your lashes to be bold and bulletproof, not a smudgy mess that requires a return trip to the store. If a formula can't even handle a little "normal wear" without migrating, it’s definitely not keeping up with the hustle!

Super clumpy, too much of the mascara stays on the brush leading consumers to buy more in a shorter time. I don't like it and super disappointed when it's caked onto my eyelashes in clumps. Looks horrible

Ugh, that is a total "clump catastrophe"! At Maybelline, we want your lashes to look iconic and fanned-out, not like a caked-on mess that’s "hustling" you into buying more product. It sounds like the wiper inside the tube isn't doing its job to clean off the brush, leaving you with way too much formula and a "horrible" heavy finish. No one has time for lashes that look caked together when they're trying to take on the city!

This mascara is easy to use and I use it daily. I have short thin lashes and this mascara makes my lashes stand out. The formula is great and doesn’t smudge on me. I have sensitive eyes and they tear up easily. I like that the brush is plush and I can get into my hair. The color is black and looks great - no flaking.

I absolutely hate it so much, it crumbles a lot and gets in my eye and it makes my eye very itchy cause of that. I do not recommend, however there only good thing about is that it will give ur eyelash a beautiful tint.

This mascara is water proof so it will not be budging. I have super long lashes so this formula was a bit heavy on my lashes. It did clump a bit so it wasn’t my favorite but still really nice brush

I was pleasantly surprised by how well this mascara held up throughout the day. The waterproof formula truly delivers—it stayed put even in humidity and through long wear without smudging. It gives great volume and lift, though I did notice it can get slightly clumpy if you apply too many layers. Removing it takes a bit more effort, but that’s expected with waterproof mascaras. Overall, it adds bold definition and lasting power that makes it worth trying.

Unfortunately, the mascara didn’t suit me. She has an uncomfortable brush, which makes her eyelashes stick together. Instead of the promised volume, I get lumps and the «spider legs» effect. It doesn’t hold up very well either - it crumbles by the end of the day. Maybe someone will like it, but for me personally, the purchase was unsuccessful. The only plus is that it's waterproofing.

This is a great mascara. Very dark and does a good job accentuating my lashes. Elongated my lashes and didn't have fall-out. It lasted all day and night without flaking.

Great for natural lashes . I used this on my bottom lashes to make my eyes pop!
It wasn’t clumpy and it was easy to remove but lasted all night. I could see myself replacing this for my current everyday use.

One of my favorite mascaras, it’s affordable, classic and makes my lashes look so good. The wand is really good and the eyelashes get coated uniformly. Waterproof and eyes look bigger , lashes lengthened and curled perfectly.

I'm puzzled why this mascara is so highly rated! I had high hopes with this mascara and it was a major letdown. It clumps BIG TIME! I gave it multiple tries and still had the same result. If you like clumpy spider looking lashes... this is your go-to! This product should be called Colossal Clumps!

I’ve been using the Maybelline Colossal Mascara and it definitely lives up to its name! The big brush coats every lash and gives instant volume without clumping. This waterproof mascara has quickly become a solid part of my routine. The best thing about it is how well it holds up throughout the day. It truly is waterproof—I’ve worn it through rain, long workdays, and even exercise, and it never smudges or flakes. The formula gives my lashes nice length and separation, creating a clean and defined look that feels polished without being over the top. It’s lightweight too, so my lashes don’t feel stiff or weighed down.
The only downside is that removal takes a little extra time. Even with a good makeup remover, I need to be patient and gentle to make sure I get it all off. That said, I think it’s worth the tradeoff for the reliable wear and long-lasting finish.

Ok the waterproof didn’t rip my eyelashes off or didn’t need to use a whole bottle of remover. It was super nice to apply and made them long and curly I will absolutely replace my more expensive one with this! Thank you so much!

I received this product free from Influenster and Maybelline in exchange for my honest review. I was overall really happy with this product super easy to use. The applicator is pretty friendly. It made my lashes long and noticeable. I noticed that it did last longer and was better in water than my other mascara. Overall, I felt like my lashes were curly after using this product.

I know this mascara has gone viral, and yes it adds lots of volume and is super buildable. I have to say it isn’t my favorite. If you can get past the fact that the brush holds on to SO much product that you have to clean it out to even apply without smudging it everywhere then maybe you’ll love it but I just found it to be messy and problematic.

I wanted to love this product but I just don’t. After seeing other reviews I was excited to try it but it clumps up really bad on my lashes. However it did give a lot of length and it stays on really well. I don’t know if mine was dried out to much or what happened.

This mascara is very nice for the price point. It lasted for hours at an event and was easy to remove with makeup remover. That said it did clump up quite a bit which is not ideal. Overall it was nice but not amazing

In my book, Maybelline is superior when it comes to mascara, especially waterproof mascara! I love the formula of the Colossal Bounce mascara and the wand makes it extremely volumizing, but I do wish it were a little more lengthening.

I love the wand applicator it’s thin and helps avoid clumps. My lashes looked long and they stayed curled longer esp bc it was waterproof! I love this one. Also easy to remove with makeup cleansing balm

I've been using this mascara for a while now and I really love it. The brush is very gentle on my lashes and really gives me noticeable volume with just two applications.
