Not the same as it used to be - formula change

Not the same as it used to be! I’m pretty sure this has been reformulated because it flakes like crazy and it NEVER did that before. It’s also extremely hard to remove. It wasn’t as hard to remove before. Also, I feel like a tube only lasts a couple weeks, whereas a tube used to last more than a month. Either it’s product shrinkage or it’s drying out. This isn’t the same beloved mascara that I’ve worn for years.

Best mascara I've used so far asian lashes <3

Literally the best mascara I've ever used; it managed to hold the curl on my straight asian lashes from the morning t'ill the evening! I'd suggest getting some good makeup remover though. I just curl my lashes, apply this in sections while holding my lashes up in their curled position until the mascara dries, usually about 10 seconds, then let go and your lashes are set for the rest of the day. Totally worth the 12 dollars I paid, would definitely buy again!

Extremely hard to remove!

Worst mascara ever! I'm still trying to understand how other people love it. The waterproof is like putting tar on your lashes. I couldn't take it off after trying three different products. It's so hard to remove and made me feel like it was bad for my lashes.

Not a win for me. I like the brown color that I got but I hate the applicator. It’s too floppy and I end up getting mascara on my eyelid, and it’s very clumpy. Won’t be buying again.

I rarely buy new makeup so I did my research ahead of time to find the best mascara and this one had the best reviews. I don't get it! It's super gloopy and instantly turned all my lashes into a unilash. Didn't really add any length. Just looks like I swiped poo over my eyes. Ive bought dollar store makeup that gave better results. Is the rating just based on the packaging? Super disappointed, but I guess I'm stuck with it for now.

Definitely smudges

Definitely smudges. I heard about this mascara from a YouTuber and had high hopes because I was looking to find a more cost-effective fiber mascara. It holds a great curl all day long and gives nice length but it definitely smudges which is why I can’t wear regular mascaras. I am still wearing it daily to use it up, I just have to clean up the smudges all day long. Will not repurchase.

A perfect all in one!

This one is undoubtedly the best mascara I've ever used. Easy application, lifter effect, full volume, literally sky high length, good definition, no clumps and lasted all night, didn't even smudge and oh boy, it was HOT outside. And to top it off, it was soo easy to remove. Absolutely loved it, I don't think I'll EVER use a different mascara! This is it.

Doesn't stay on lashes

Smudges terribly and by lunchtime I have panda eyes. I use the waterproof in the hope it didn't happen, but alas it still smudges. Easily removed with soap and water. To be fair by the end of the day there's very little left on my lashes.

Tried the mabelline sky high for the first time , I ended up in hospital with a dreadful eye infection two weeks of antibiotics, terrible product too fragranced and my eyes stung instantly never had this happen with any other makes , eye clinic said definitely the mascara caused this will never use again

I’ve worn Maybelline Mascara my entire life. I am 60. I’ve used Great Lash, Colossal and Falsies…all waterproof over the years. It’s the only one I didn’t have issues with until now. I decided to try the Sky High waterproof. I liked how my lashes looked. No clumps, easy to apply. But I noticed my eyelids began to itch. I thought it was a fluke. I went back to my old mascara for a few days all was good. Tried the sky high again and eyelids began to itch and burn. There is defiantly something different to this one from the others. Makeups not cheap anymore and I am so disappointed in this one.

Falsies but make it natural

I have Asian eyelashes and I've tried their washable kind and it made my eyelashes droop A BUNCH. The Sky High Maybelline mascara was a no for me until I bought the waterproof version. For straight and fine lashes this is a really good mascara to make your lashes look fuller and thicker without making your lashes droop!

Wand is too bendy & regular formula hard to remove

Unfortunately, the wand in this mascara is too flexible and very hard to use without applying way too much product on lashes. I am using an old cleaned Cover Girl mascara wand to fix the globs. Once it is on, it looks nice (long, defined lashes), but removal is really flaky and difficult. I purchased the non-waterproof formula and it isn’t coming off with micellar water. Two fixes and this would be a great mascara.

Flakey and Impossible to Remove

I truly want to like this mascara, because while I'm wearing it, I have no issues. My lashes look long and beautiful, which they usually never do because they grow down and inward. However, the cons of this mascara completely outweigh the pros, and I am so disappointed.
I cannot take off the mascara without it flaking EVERYWHERE on my face. I usually soak my lashes with my micellar water, which says it can take off waterproof make up, but this mascara does not budge. My eyes end up looking so red and irritated from trying to remove it that I give up and end up going to bed with it all over my face.
I've tried soaking my lashes for 10+ minutes in the micellar water, I even used my facial cleanser to try and clean it off while washing my face, and it continues to flake everywhere and still leave clumps on my lashes.
I've seen other reviews of people having the same issue, so I'm glad I'm not the only one.

Impossible removal

I was so excited to find a mascara I like. I have short lashes, and this works well. However, when they say it is waterproof, it is also removal proof. Having 3 different removers, I bought a 4th, the Micro Water recommended by Mabelline. It doesn't work any better than my other 3 removers. I just have to be patient and use multiple removers every night. Guess I will have to keep looking as I won't be buying this again.

This is a GAME CHANGER! You NAILED IT! I have FINALLY replaced the Lancome mascara with SkyHigh Waterproof Mascara!
For the past year I have been trying to find a Mascara that not only says its waterproof, but actually IS WATERPROOF! Just in the
last year I have tried over 15 mascaras. Lancome, Covergirl, Sephora, Better than Sex, Thrive, Wet & Wild,{to name a few} Loreal all saying waterproof
but finding out they ARE NOT! I had really almost given up on finding a mascara that delivers what it advertises until,
i bought the Sky High waterproof Mascara! It is SO AMAZING! Waterproof YES MAM! It stays on all day no flaking or rubbing off
even when it gets wet! Comes off with makeup remover with no problem! Its buildable and I dont even have to curl my lashes they
stay full and looking amazing ALL DAY! Now please, dont change the formula or Stop making it!!!!!!!

Upon application, I noticed an immediate stinging sensation in my eyes, accompanied by redness and irritation. Assuming it might be a temporary reaction, I decided to give it some time, but unfortunately, the discomfort persisted and even intensified over the next few hours. To my dismay, the irritation extended beyond my eyes to my face, resulting in red patches and extreme swelling. Do not recommend.

Q: Is this mascara supposed to be delivered with no seal or sticker to show it has never been used? I understand the desire to reduce packaging, but this is not hygienic, may have been tampered with or could have dried out before it even reaches the buyer!

Our products have been tested to have at least a 3-year shelf life if unopened and stored at normal room temperature, during which they will retain their integrity and perform as expected.
