Favorite daily mascara

I love this mascara! I’ve tried so many and keep coming back to this one for daily use. It’s light, feathery, and fluffy feeling. Makes my lashes fan out noticeably, but lightly. It’s a subjectively drier formula to me, but not dry, which I actually prefer. I can build length easily and even come back later in the day to add a bit more length. It doesn’t flake or hurt my eyes (I have sensitive skin and eyelids). I hope Maybelline never stops making it! <3

Favorite mascara

Have been using it for years and the wand is a game changer. Better than any luxury mascara wand I have tried. Gives your lashes a bit of a curl during application. Only down side is it’s not the best for bottom lashes, but that’s not as important to me.

I've used Maybelline for decades and for some reason VOLUM' EXPRESS® THE FALSIES FLARED® WASHABLE MASCARA VERY BLACK, was a total and frustrating disappointment. I've never had a mascara dry up & clump only after 30 days of purchase. Never again....

Horrible mascara.

I rate this mascara with 0 star, unfortunately i have to give 1 star to write a review ugh... I just got it yesterday and it's the worst mascara I’ve bought from maybelline, my lashes look clumpy, sticky and short also the mascara flakes all into your face! I’m so disappointed because I usually wear The Falsies so I decided to give a try to The Falsies Flared but for the first time I WANT MY MONEY BACK! If you are looking for a good mascara buy The Colossal Cat Eyes!

I have been using this for a long time. I tried another mascaras and different brands but I turned back to this. My friends asked me many times if I got false lashes but nope, only this mascara without lash curlers. I'm exactly sticked on this.

A young lady on Youtube rated this mascara as her #1 choice. She tried many & listed her #1-#10. I have been searching for a mascara that does not flake off onto my face during the day.....this one does not fit that bill. Also, it has a flimsy wand.

This is my fav mascara right now. I do have to pay attention and make sure I don't have too much on my brush but it gives wonderful length and volume and I have sensitive eyes and have never had an issue with the brand.

I was really excited to try this mascara. I've used other Maybelline mascaras in the past and I use other Maybelline make up. But this was a let down. Totally clumpy. And really flakey. Unhappy...

I owned the originial Volum' Express Falsies, so Flared I thought would be even better. Wrong. This mascara was dry and dried even worse after I applied it. My lashes felt crunchy all day and worse, it flaked. It was terrible.

My First Pick for Mascara

I have used all of the Falsies recently, including Mega Plush. Of course I have used hundreds of other mascaras high and low end as well. This is the best mascara I have used to date. I only wish it made my lashes a little softer like Mega Plush.

This mascara is super thick, and almost seems like old, dried mascara from day one. It didn't make my eyelashes look good at all. But it is so thick that it made my top and bottom lashes stick together when I blink. At the end of the day, it flaked.

I have used so many mascaras (Covergirl's Lash Blast Volume; Dior's Iconic Extreme; Rimmel's MAX Volume Flash; Lancome's Hypnose; Loreal's Voluminous) and THIS is the best mascara I have ever used so far. I couldn't be more happy with this product.

Holds a Curl!

I love this because when I curl my eyelashes, it hold the curl PERFECTLY! I just love it! It doesn't really give that whole dramatic wing thing that you see from the models, but who can expect that? But it still gave great volume with a curl.

I got this mascara because I wanted a washable mascara that can hold my curl. The formula is more of a dry one and It actually does a descent job at holding the curl, and also provides nice length but It does't give me much volume because I find that it's a little hard to build up because it can start to clump. Another thing is that it kind of makes my lashes a little hard and brittle. But the brush does a good job at separating and it reaches all my lashes and I haven't had any problems with flaking or smudging. It's not that bad but it's not my favorite mascara. I prefer the full n soft.

I wouldn't say this product necessarily "flares" out your lashes. You also can't really layer this product too much before it becomes super clumpy. When I put this mascara on, it seems to want to bind all of my lashes together. Not terrible.

My perfect mascara

I think I have finally found my perfect mascara. This greatly thickens AND extends your lashes in just about 2-3 coats for me. The formula is rather thick yet not prone to clumping, and best of all (for me) it holds a curl, all day! A trick to curl your lashes is to hold the wand on your lashes when it's about halfway up, for me about 10 seconds, and it will keep. Secondly for anyone saying that they get tips that curl downward, that is because you are not using the brush right. This happened to me the first time, then the next time I made sure to have my lashes resting perfectly into the curved side of the brush... Voila, no dangly tips. My lashes tend to criss cross and stick together, so I wish the brush separated them a little better. But I just go back and comb through them. So far this mascara has been good! No flakes, just thick and voluminous CURLED eyelashes all day.

Made My Eyelashes Go Out In Different Directions

This was the worst mascara I have ever used. I love Maybelline Products, and mascaras, but not this one. I have thin, fine and few eyelashes. This mascara made the lashes go out in all different directions. The volume was okay. Gave this mascara to my mother. Won't be repurchasing, won't be recommending.

I have asian eyelashes, and they're at a decent length. This product does not volumize or separate my lashes. It also flakes. I had to coat on multiple layers to even make it look like i have mascara on.

This mascara seemed to go on nicely then as it dried the tips of my lashes all started to curl downwards in every which way and not "flare out" at all. A very undesired look, I wish I could return it! :(

Once I applied it on, it made tons of my lashes stick together like extremely thick spider legs, and it was not attractive at all. In fact, it was not very classy at all. I felt that it's purpose on what it claimed it would do was very deluded.

I do like more natural looking makeup, but this mascara was extremely wet and clumpy. It was a mess on my eyelashes, I don't understand how women rave about this. I recommend ANY other Maybelline mascara.

This mascara is so amazing. It looks like you have fake lashes! For me, it never clumps! I have been using this mascara for years and Its been my favorite! It gives you very black thick lashes and i love the bendy thick wand!

The mascara seems like it lasts forever! I've had mine for a while and it still hasn't dried up. Some mascaras wear off after a few uses, but not this one, it won't put those annoying specks under your eyes.

I have always had lashes that looked as though they are missing in action; they looked very thin and asleep. I am now a happy woman with this very ah-mazing mascara. My lashes as now alive and sexy. I have already stocked up on my 3rd one.

I love this mascara! And I mean love! I use to not even wear mascara,but this have me wearing mascara almost everyday! If I go anywhere,even just to go walking, I have to wear it! It makes my eyes pop dramatic. Sometimes it look so black on my lashes it makes me look like i'm wearing eyeliner and false eyelashes! My lashes are now labled in Falsies Flared!

I'm almost positive 99 percent of girls who wear mascara have tried this and loved it. It gives great length and shape and is my go to drugstore mascara. If you are the unfourtunate 1 percent who hasn't tried this, do it. You wont regret it I promise

I love this so much. I've been waiting this to school, and no one seems to noticed that I'm wearing mascara. Every time I have clumps on my lashes, I just take the brush and sweep down. And honestly, it took most of the clumps off..

Q: I just purchased and opened a Falsies Flared mascara tube, and it has a VERY STRONG sweet plastic odor, like a new baby doll. Is this a normal scent for this mascara? The normal Falsies didn't have any scent.
