Don't waste your money

I have used this mascara and sky high for a long time and the formula must have changed because now it rubs off below my brow bone and leaves mascara marks which it never did before. The mascara is now too sticky and clumps all my lashes together which is also an issue I had never experienced with my previous purchases. I wish yall wouldn't have messed with a good thing.

The absolute best mascara. Maybelline, please don't stop making this. I have tried dozens of mascaras, including super-high priced and award-winning mascaras, and this one beats them all. Gives great volume, easy to apply, doesn't flake or smudge, and washes off easily.

Was once great, not anymore, changed formula‘s bad

I used the “Falsies” variant from Maybelline for the last 8 years or so..earlier this month after buying a new tube, I noticed that my lashes were nowhere near the length they were or as thick as they’d been for years now since using this product. So I bought a second tube thinking maybe it was just a bad batch, but no, same exact issues persisting. Thats $20 wasted and I had to go to Sephora to find a more expensive and upscale brand to get the same desired effect as my “falsies” once provided..bummer

I ditched all my other mascaras after finding this

Well, I sure hope that Maybelline keeps making this one. It checks all the boxes. It lifts the lashes, multiplies them, thickens them, and curls them. Moreover, it is less irritating on my eyes than the other mascaras I have tried, and I can rinse it with just water and it comes off. I think I may get rid of all my other mascaras after trying this one, because this is the only one I want and need. If I had to use only one mascara for the rest of my life, it is this one, hands down.

I was hoping to get great results, but not this one. I love the Maybelline line. This mascara has my eye lashes stuck together and hard to clean off my face. Extremely dissatisfied. Don’t buy this!!!

I was very excited to try this new mascara but after 3 uses the material is very crumbly and flaky. Multiple times it has gotten in my eyes, I had very high hopes for this product I had purchased but very quickly dissatisfied and disappointed. Typically I use a similar kind of mascara that doesn’t cake as bad but just wanted to try something new. Never again. After several other products of Maybelline I’ve used that just cake up, smudge or over all just feel uncomfortable on my face I don’t think I’ll be using their products again. Can’t even begin to express my frustration on the matter, especially after spending the money I earn to buy these products.

Boo Hiss.......This is without a doubt the WORST mascara I have ever purchased! Thick, gloppy, pasty, comes out in dry lumps and wads. A complete waste of money. Avoid at all cost!!!

This mascara is the best ever! I used to use Great Lash growing up and then this came out and I will never use another kind of mascara ever! My eyelashes look so big and nice and i get lots of compliments! Without mascara you can barely see my eyelashes, so this is just the best!!!

Flimsy wand

I wish I had read the reviews. The wand is so flimsy that it doesn't apply the mascara well at all. I initially thought the wand was defective due to the grove mid way on the stem. Poorly made. I hate wasting money. If I had saved the receipt, I would return it.

I have been using the New York Volume Express Big Eyes for years and am truly addicted to it. Nothing makes my lashes look as good as this mascara does. I have been purchasing it on Amazon since it was discontinued years ago and now I am having trouble purchasing it there, as well. Don't Buy - Raccoon Eyes!

I've used a lot of mascaras over the years, and a lot of Maybelline mascaras, and have never felt let down so much by one to leave 1-star review! But this mascara is no good. Within a 2 hours of applying, the mascara had smudged onto my undereyes, and got worse over the course of the day until I had massive dark undereyes after just 5 hours of wearing and almost no mascara left on my lashes. I'll certainly never buy again, and I don't even think I'll be finishing this tube.

Something has changed....

I’ve used this mascara for years but the last couple tubes I’ve bought were really clumpy, thick, and irritates my eyes... it feels as though I’m putting glue in my eyelashes and the mascara feels really sticky and my eyelashes clump together if I touch them at all during the day. It’s IMPOSSIBLE to remove no matter what kind of makeup remover I use. Makes my eyes feel dry too. This mascara used to be the best but I’m afraid I’m gonna have to fin something new because it annoys me yo wear it now.

I have been using this mascara for several years now. It is just about the only mascara that holds up my stubborn lashes. About a month ago, I bought a new tube and to my surprise it no longer holds my lashes! The formula must have changed. Please bring back the old formula, Maybelline!

I usually Love the Falsies mascara, rarely had any issue. Until now. This particular tube of mascara is garbage! It clumps so you have to keep brushing, which creates its own problem; and it is the worst that it started flaking before I even left the house! I had a stranger next to me point it out during lunch! I really wish I had saved the packaging to return it. So not happy right now. ☹️

My eyelashes are pretty long , i usually curl them 2 times then apply 2 coats of mascara and they stay up and pretty for a long time . I have used Maybeline stilleto (waterproof) for about 7 years now . The last time i bought the stiletto it was trash super watery! i guess the formula changed so i decided to try this one WASTE OF $$ within 1 minute of applying the first coat my eyelashes went down This has never happened to me! they looked lifeless , i tried it a 2nd and even 3rd time and every time this happened so i threw it away almost brand new .. DO NOT BUY THIS TRASH .. i get my mascara for $1-$2 sometimes they sell it at a 99 cent store i usually get it at this clothing store near my house it is called Super Lash Mascara by apple , i get the pink & green one . Way cheaper and better than this one

Don't Like Brsh

I normally use a different brand of mascara. A friend said she really like the mascara and I need to get a new one great opportunity to try a new brand of mascara. I tried the mascara with the brush and I had the reapply a few times.
I had a few unused mascara brushes and used the one the next day and the mascara went on much better.
The brush has away to much flexibility. When I fist saw the brush I thought it was defected. I looked on line and saw that's how the brush was.

Caused Allergic Reaction

This masacara gave me an allergic reaction. I beleive they have added maybe a new ingredient or have used a new manufacture. I have used falsies mascara for a years, but decided to try the "Volume Express", to avoid applying lashes. I will never use this product again or recommend family or friends to. Beware, because it caused me to have an eye irritation and swelling around my eyes.

Product has changed for the worse

I have used this mascara for probably 10 plus years. In the last few years ththe qulaitly gets worse and worse. Before there would be so much product i would have to use an older, dryer one as a base until the new one applied they way i like it. The tube would last much over the recommended month it should last. Now it seems to have very little product in the tube. It is very dry. I have to scrape the sides and use several coats to get the coverage I like. It maybe last 2 weeks before it is too dry and need to replace. The worst part is it flakes off and I have mascara pieces on my cheeks through out the day. Whatever you did to change this product you need to go back to your previous formula!! So irritating!

Worst ever

I was extremely disappointed with my last purchase of this product. I hadn't purchased it for about 2 years, but when I came back to this mascara it was dried up, crumbly, and pretty much useless. could not return because the package was opened, go figure. Poor value since it's pretty much useless.

Disappointed!

I have used this mascara for 5 years and been in love with how long and voluminous it made my lashes appear. People would seriously ask me if I was wearing fake eyelashes or if I got extensions! I could wear just this mascara and go out in public feeling 100% confident and beautiful. I ran out of mascara about a month ago and of course I went to buy another tube - WHAT HAPPENED?!? The first thing I noticed is that the tube no longer appears metallic, but obviously that's not a huge deal. When I pulled the wand out, I thought it looked a little different but even at this point I wasn't about to throw the towel in. However, when I started applying I was so frustrated I wanted to cry! The brush is much fatter so it clumps up my lashes, not like before when it would separate and elongate them. Now I get mascara ALL over my eyelid. Not sure what happened here but I am not a fan and will be searching for a new favorite.

Beautifully quick and thick!

It so fast and easy to apply. Just two real slow swipes from near the root and outward makes my lashes look thicker and stays on without smudging for at least 8 hours or more! I am not allergic to it at all either. This is so much better than Almay's mascara. A little goes a long way. The only thing is the wand is curved and hard to get all the excess off when brand new. After a few times, it works great. I love it! It is my favorite. It easily comes off with makeup remover or body shampoo and a washcloth.

Looks great, but irritating

I love the way my lashes look with this mascara, but it really irritates my eyes compared to other Maybelline mascaras I’ve worn. I also find it so difficult to remove, even though it is not even a waterproof mascara. I probably won’t be purchasing again.

Hate the brush

I bought this as a bogo half off at Rite Aid with a tube of Rocket Volume. This brush does not seem to perform for me at all, and I tried putting the wand from Rocket Volume in to at least try out the formula but it doesn't fit the tube. I have great lashes, they are just blonde and need mascara. This mascara isn't the one for me.

After the hype (excellent reviews) and the name "The Falsies", I was excited to go for a more affordable product. However this was extremely disappointing. It barely coats my lashes, with no lift and absolutely no volume.
