New color corrector concealer formula is awful

I used Maybelline cover stick corrector for 49 years
Recently I had to buy a new stick and wonder if the formula has changed? It used to go on nice and smooth. Now it goes on goopy and heavy. Has the formula changed? It is awful and greasy and smears when I put it on. I need Dawn soap to remove the greasiness on my fingers after I apply it which I never did before. Please bring back the original waterproof formulas in light beige and medium beige.

Too light - need darker shades

All the shades are too light. I'm a white woman with unremarkable medium toned skin. In brands that have 50 shades, I'd wear a 10 or 12. All of these cover sticks are too light for me. Even the 'deep' beige is day glow bright on my winter, sun deprived skin. What do people with actual deep skin do?

I, too, want the white stick. I have been using this for decades. It is the only thing that covers my dark circles. A little white, with a little natural color and I am good to go and don't have people asking how I got a black eye. PLEASE bring this back. Nothing works like this does. From the other reviewers, it is clear this product is in demand and greatly missed.

My favourite makeup product ever

I've been using this one since the early 1980s & have yet to find another concealer I like as well. It's my reliable standby to minimize blemishes, dark circles, discoloration, & pretty much any facial imperfections. Please never stop making it, Maybelline!

I have very fair skin and the white was the BEST for highlighting, blending. You have forgotten a whole demographic of skin color by discontinuing the white. Every makeup company wants to believe fair skin matches ivory, porcelain and that’s all we need. We need the white!!!

Been using the light beige shade of this product for about 7 years now. I've ventured to other drugstore concealers but I always come back to this one. I like that the formula is buildable while still being lightweight. Other concealers I've tried tend to crease on me but this one doesn't. I have combination skin and it applies well to all areas of my face. Also the stick format is very convenient.

It was discontinued at the store I work at years ago but after searching everywhere I realize you got rid of it all together. I have a birthmark on my right temple and the white stick was perfect for covering it as well as the dark circles under my eyes. PLEASE bring it back!!

Please bring back the white! Your customers want the shade! I just paid $35 for one Cover Stick on eBay! People who have the white shade are now selling for $50! Had I known it would be discontinued, I would have bought 20 of them when they were available. It’s the absolute only white shade that works for me. I have tried many others since being unable to get Maybelline and no others work! Bring it back!

The application has always been the best!

I started using this since my Mom recommended it to me and she was a model in the 60’s in Europe. I have a wide variety of make up that I use from all different vendors and this is always still the one that is my go to. The only thing that I wish is that you guys would bring back the white one, that one was fantastic. The market is so competitive right now that I think Maybelline should reconsider making a come back and re-introducing that one for sure!!!

Like other commenters, I've been using both the White and Ivory Cover Stick for many years. I think the White would be great to bring back, even sold exclusively online, not only because it works great, but also because another product like it doesn't exist. I've been using this concealer for 20 years. It is better than any concealer on the market, including all of the very pricey, high-end ones. The color labeling is off for me - "fair" was darker and had less flash-back than all the other colors (excluding medium beige, which is my next-best match even though I am fairly pale.) PLEASE bring back fair (I will keep you in business by buying it all!) and consider expanding the range of colors.

Combat dark circles and other darkened areas (think: leftover discoloration from a breakout) with a do-it-all concealer like Instant Age Rewind Eraser Neutralizer.
