I love this product!! I wanted a purple-ish effect on my blush. It is very shimmery, close to glittery, but not quite. This highlighter is easy to apply if you start small. If you go heavy handed it could almost look like you rubbed lavender lipstick on your cheek. The powder does break easily, just by dropping it on the counter. Handle it with caution, if you will be traveling with it) I love it so much I don't care I have to deal with all the little bits). You can blend it more or less, depending on how you want it to look.

I have been looking for a nice translucent shimmering powder and found this. It's perfect. I have pale skin and this helps just add a touch of pink to my cheeks with some fun sparkle.

I use this as an eye shadow base- the purple- i use a wet brush, it can be light or somewhat intense. Not like powder- kind of clumpy- but it lays downs nicely. Looks like nothing else!

This is not holographic.

It is an amazing product for its price. But its not holographic. Its pearlesent at most. Its shimmering and pretty. It sets well and it has a nice consistency but again it's not holographic, it doesn't reflect a rainbow effect or shift colors. Stop using the holographic tag, is misleading and a disgrace for such an amazing company to just sell products.

I've never had a highlight like this one before. It's just so different and stunning!!!! I'm absolutely in love with it! It looks like a fine glitter once applied, but feels so smooth and silky and not chunky whatsoever. Though its purple, it doesn't look like your face is bruised, it just looks like purple shimmer. It's really something you need to see in person. The photo doesn't do it justice!!! I can't stress that enough!!!!!!!!!!!

super blinding highlighter

I bought this just a couple days ago and it’s took some getting used to. I personally love a super dramatic highlighter and when i found this i had to try it. When i put it directly on the brush and then to my skin there was almost nothing there. But when i sprayed some setting spray on the brush and then applied it to my skin it was so gorgeous! If you’re looking for a blinding highlighter, just spray some setting spray on you brush, and use this product! overall i love it. i just wish it was more pigmented without the setting spray!

Beautiful but sparse

I like this highlighter a lot. It's not truly "holographic", but it is still beautiful. I have the shade opal, and on my pale skin I think it looks great for a colorful look. I do find it pretty annoying that the highlighter is really sparse so the glitter tends to move around a lot. Also, I would have loved this on my eyes' inner corners, but it's too sparse for that. If you don't mind that, I think the price is fair for the product.

worst highlighter ever

I had been wanting to try this highlighter in the shade prismatic for while, as it looked so pretty in stores. I was looking foward to it as it looked like it had a rich white pigment which I love, but it severely disappointed. it has absolutely no pigment and looks like you just applied pink sparkles. it's so chunky and when I tried to blend it in it just fell off. it's SO glittery it's pretty much unusable.
No, I do not recommend this product.

I bought this highlighter a while ago and is definitely in my top favorites! It has a creamy feel to it, so it doesn’t look crusty or dry when applied. It’s honestly so pretty by itself or ontop of another highlight for an extra blinding look. Looks best (for photo ops) in natural sunlight.

First and formost I enjoy a lot of maybelline makeup line, but for the first time I am very disappointed in this holographic highlighter. I purchased this product thinking it would be a great holographic lighter. To my surprised this product is very very disappointing. It’s very chalky and was not very pigmented. I’ve tried this product for many days in hopes it would chance my mind. But even swatching the product I was very disappointing. This product was a waste of my money. I would of preferred getting another product that actually works. Unfortunately I think this product would of worked so I threw away my receipt, so I’m unable to return the item or exchange it. *DO NOT BUY THE HOLOGRAPHIC HIGHLIGHTER, NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY*

I bought this as soon as I saw it at Walmart a couple weeks ago and let me tell you! I love it! I'm a guy and live in the middle of Indiana so most days I go somewhat subtle with makeup. Mostly it's the heavy smudged out liner look I do with a nice subtle glow. Lately tho, I've gone more bold. I love to layer this over my Becca pearl highlighter. I'm super pale so the 2 together gives me that nice metallic glow with a really exciting sparkle! I brought to work the next day and made my friend try it on and shes a glitter addict! Anything and everything shimmer and sparkle she wants. And she had me later this all on her cheeks and even her chest/shoulders/collarbones. I think I loved it more there than on the face. But I'm hooked on it. When payday rolls around I'll be going back to get the purple chrome highlighter!

Subtle highlighter! Can be seen at the right angle or the right lighting which allows one to seem more natural with their make up! Its certainly still shimmery it just seems more realistic if you’re more of a natural make up kind of person like me!

The product was kinda powdery and chalky. It didn't have have of a flow which is what I prefer instead it had multiple shades of noticeable sparkles. I think it could be good on top of eyeshadow or for an occasion you purposely want a lot of sparkle on your face, but not for an everyday highlighting glowy look

I bought this highlighter to try out and really wanted an icey colored highlight. I am not sure how I feel about it. It has alot of glittery chunks, which I don't mind the glitter, but it's sort of hard to apply. I found it best to use my finger to apply since it was hard to pick up on the brush. When I did get it to apply, I thought it was pretty. I think I will play around with it some more.

Super pigmented . I loved he holographic effects . Suitable for all skin types. Avoid to apply too much, It could emphasize your pores as any other super pigmented highlighter . Should last a very long time , little goes a long way

I have to be honest...I don’t like this highlight. There’s just something kind of “off” about the formula. Trying to pick it up with a brush is a challenge. It comes up chunky. Using your fingers definitely is the way to go with this one but unfortunately I don’t like using my fingers for make up. In the pan there are hints of a “holo” glow but on the skin it’s more an iridescent white highlight. Not a terrible product but not what I expecting. I wouldn’t reach for it in the morning. I received this holographic lighter from maybelline and influenster complimentary to review. I absolutely love it. This is an honest review, it applied like a dream. Not chalky pretty smooth and pro tip: use it as a topper to other highlighters for that added micro glitter look. You can also put on top of lipstick or eyeshadow. Try it.

You can top of eyeshadows with this highlighter and it will give them a holographic sheen to it. I think it's great for an everyday glow. It does well on my combo skin, but I do have dry patches due to the winter and I'd recommend moisturizing well before applying it any area that is dry.

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with this product! The pigment is not too intense so you have the ability to build it up for the more holographic look, or use lightly for a nice shimmer. I received many complements when using this highlighter. Would definitely recommend! (I used with a feathered/fanned highlighter brush)

I got this highlighter in a Maybelline Vox box and it really surprised me! As a person with dark skin getting a highlighter that is white scared me little. However, when I swatch this product it had a really nice sheer kind of glittery look to it. I love as a highlighter for my inner corner and I sometimes use it as an eyeshadow topper. I love it!

I was beyond excited to receive this product from Influenster because I love holographic products! This one is just okay, though. The texture of the base of the product is very soft, but there's some chunky, obvious glitter in it that makes it look a bit less refined. While there's a decent lavender-blue sheen to it, it has a strong white base, so I don't think it will work well on darker skin tones. I personally used this as an eyeshadow.

This highlighter is shockingly prismatic!!! It really gives 'high end' a run for the money!! It's really icy white which has complimented so many looks!! I am fair/ivory toned and this bumps up the wow effect. It's insane frosty effect is unbeatable! Really compliments the icy weather of the north! Love it!!

This highlight isn’t my absolute favorite, but it definitely gives me glow. The main thing for me is the glitters in the powder that seem really chunky when you apply it, but that can be solved by tapping your brush off after picking up the product. It definitely isn’t real “holographic,” but it is really pretty.

A beautiful shade that looks beautiful as a highlighter. it gives a soft glow and blends like magic. What I love the most is how it looks absolutely natural! Another thing is the illuminious effect it creates on my skin enhancing my features perfectly!

This maybelline holographic highlighter had a beautiful iridescent type of finish. You see a beautiful array of pinks and purples with a great glitter aspect. Of course with a damp brush the pigmentation is a lot more visible. This is a great product for someone looking to be on trend with the higher end products on the market. On a personal preference, the product had to much glitter for me to rate this 5 stars. All in al great value for the price.

I really like this highlighter, it’s a very shimmery finish to the skin and great for a night out! It’s quite sheer but you can build it up! It has pearl undertones and is definitely a great buy! Would totally recommend this!

I was a little scared of this one, a bit worried it may show up looking like a bruise due to the purple shift. I was quite surprised by how smoothly it went on and sat on my skin due to the slight glitter. I think would work best on fair skin.

I really wanted to love this and I will explain my 4 stars. I have very textured skin and big pores on my cheekbones so to put something this glittery is a bad idea. If you have smooth skin and small pores it will probably work for you. However I do think it makes an amazing eyeshadow for the inner corner or even a topper to another shadow if you want more of a glittery light catching look. It is very soft and breaks apart very easily, full of glitter, very pigmented, blendable, and overall gorgeous but personally for me it’s not good as a highlighter

I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS!!! It is so stunning! As a highlighter it is easy to overdue it because the glitter in this highlighter is chunky but definitely legit holographic (reflecting all colors of the rainbow) it had a really pretty faint lavender sheen to it when I applied it to my cheeks by itself but it is flawless as a cheek topper, eyeshadow topper, eyeshadow by itself. It is so pretty & I’m obsessed!!!

I was excited to try the Opal shade of the Maybelline Master Holographic Prismatic Highlighter, but sadly "holographic," it is not... instead it's more of a white base that sheers away easily plus some colored chunky glitter particles that makes the highlight appear silver with a red shift when applied. The texture is just as soft as the Master Chrome highlighters, so despite the holographic let-down, I thought it'd still be successful, but sadly the glitter is too large and just falls away without a strong base to adhere to. The only successful application I found was on top of cream highlighters as a topper, where it can be really stunning (as in my last swatch photo, where I have it on top of two of my favorites)... but that's also a lot of work, so unless you have a booming cream highlighter collection and really enjoy the effort in a transforming topper, Opal is mostly a disappointment.

It is very long lasting and its overall amazing. It is a white highlighter with peach, purple tones I think is so fun. Pros is that it blends easily. Cons. None!
