Took away pale shades

I used to buy the Fit Me Dewey in shade 102 (Fair porcelain). I'm super pale, and it was the ONLY brand and shade that I could find that actually matched my skin tone and looked good! - now they don't carry it anymore and I am devastated!! I don't know if they got rid of it because spring is coming around and people get tan?? I don't get tan though, I burn, peel, and go back to marshmallow white 😭 PLEASE BRING IT BACK!!!! Some of your clients need lighter shades all year round!!

Shades have changed

Such a good product but why do they keep changing things. We don't need a new look, those of us buying this product are doing so bc we love the formula. They say new look, same formula, but the shades are different. I bought my usual shade 110 and it is much lighter than my older one. Frustrating!

Was Great But Now Somethings Off

I have used Maybelline Fit Me collection for years. Even with my oily skin, It has always given me a natural look until last month. I have noticed in my last couple of purchases (December) that the color is off and it gives me a really dry look. It appears to be darker than normal when I compared it to a bottle that I had that was running out (that's why I was purchasing more). I thought maybe there was a recall after going to several stores to purchase another one and it was sold out for weeks. I went to a different foundation with another company but would love to return to Maybelline. Was the problem with the Fit Me Dewy Smooth Liquid foundation corrected? What about the Fit Me Matte Pressed Powder Foundation?

LOVE this liquid foundation! I was using the Maybelline Better Skin Powder, but Maybelline discontinued it. So I found this Fit Me Foundation in the Smooth Dewy finish in 110 Porcelain, and it is perfect. It's non-irritating, not heavy or mask-like, and not too thin, leaving the skin with a fresh glowing velvet appearance. I've tried all the high-end department store name brands, and it's just a waste of money. When all the time Maybelline has the best!

Absolute Favorite Foundation

I love this foundation!!! I have combination skin that leans mostly dry and usually have visible pores and some break outs. I cannot tolerate matte foundation at all. This Dewy + Smooth is the BEST for me, outperforms even the expensive brands I've tried. It looks perfectly even and skinlike with powder and setting spray, and lays down nicely even on my most difficult areas like my very dry nose and forehead. Literally no other foundation or concealer looks nice on my nose! If you have normal/dry skin, try this asap!! My only complaints are the application and the shade range. This NEEDS a pump, even if sold separately that would make this soo much nicer to use. Also, the shade range is kinda limited. It could use at least 10 more shades to really fit everyone. If Maybelline could add these things, this would be THE perfect foundation.

Fit me dewy smooth foundation has been the product that made me fall in love with Maybelline products! I have been using this foundation for 8 years now and can't seem to cheat on this product. Great coverage, strong scent

I had been using the Dream Radiant Liquid foundation for many years and loved it. I was so sad to see it was discontinued. Just bought the Fit Me Dewy foundation and love the coverage. It's just beautiful. However, I'm so disappointed it has such a strong fragrance. It actually burns my eyes when I put it on and the scent bothers me throughout the day. It's not a pleasant smell, so I'll probably have to find something else. I'm actually surprised to see a fragrance added to foundation, especially when so many people are sensitive to and have adverse reactions to scents, not to mention the unhealthy ingredients in synthetic fragrances. Would LOVE to see a fragrance-free option!

Nooooo! Why would you discontinue this product? Please pass on to the company that this is my favorite foundation and would continue to buy it if you continue to make it. Please keep the formula it is exceptional. I have very oily skin and this is the only formulation that gives me a dewey finish without breaking out.

Product Needs Improvements

Good foundation but it needs improvement in three areas: First, it needs a pump! Second, the product should have a safety seal around the neck of the bottle (drugstore foundations are much more prone to customers opening the bottles). Three, the shade range needs to be expanded. It's hard to get a good match.

New packaging, worse product @

Don't buy the new look bottles. I bought an older bottle 110 and a new one 115 to mix. The new packaging has changed the substance. It leaves traces in pores and lines, is dryer and irritates the eyes! Thanks Maybelline!

Not at all as expected. It is thin, runny, poor coverage, seems to have some fake glistening. Shows every pore, hair; nothing smooth about it. Can’t compare to Dream Satin Liquid. Any of the more fair skin shades are extremely yellow. BRING BACK DREAM SATIN LIQUID!

Better than my first foundationn

My first ever foundation was $46, and it wasn’t even my shade </3… The second foundation (this brand) I’ve bought is my exact skin tone, and I was absolutely SHOCKEDDD (and it literally cost so much less) ‼️‼️(the online try-on function helped alot before I bought it). This felt really nice on my skin, and it doesn’t make my face feel cakey like my last one.

The new Dew& smooth with sunscreen without the vitamin E is HORRIBLE! I am a black woman and it makes me look ashy and my skin dry and powdery. Goodness go back to the old formula. I wasted money buy this stuff and this brand use to be my go to for years until the formula was changed. 1/27/24.

I have very acne-prone and sensitive skin with PLENTY of flaking, yet I would always get oily by the end of the day. I used to use the matte but I decided to try the dewy instead and if you have a skin type that's similar to mines, I would totally recommend getting the dewy. It's hydrating and I flake much less, and it's the perfect amount of hydrating where you don't look greasy either. It has a good amount of coverage (but any darker spots will be seen), doesn't accentuate my skin texture and looks so healthy. My only complaint is that it's not as transferproof and longlasting as the matte. And also I HATE THE BOTTLE. But in my opinion I think this is totally worth the small price and has amazing quality.

Very nice foundation, but not enough darker shades

This is a very good foundation. Feels amazing on the skin. It would be my go-to but the shade jump between Coconut (too light for me) and Java (too dark) is vast and I can't find my shade. More shades are needed in between. Plenty of dark skin gals have dry skin. Please add more shades for us!

ive used this product alot and im disappointed that (specifically) the dewy foundation doesnt have as much shades as the matte foundation. i have dry skin and i wear shade 340 in the matte foundation. im disappointed that there isnt a 340 in the dewy version

I DON'T LIKE HAVING TO USE MY FINGERS OR TO POUR THE PRODUCT ONTO AN APLICATOR AS THIS JUST WASTE THE PRODUCT. my skin is a bit more combination but this blends out to more of a sheer/slight medium coverage! it stayed on all day with primer & setting spray and it’s not cakey at all on my skin. I was worried that it would be a little too dark for my skin tone (i got fair porcelain) but it’s a nice match! one complaint i have though is the bottle, i would prefer if it had a pump instead of just using it out of the bottle because i feel like i’m wasting it :((

Having used this product for 10+ years I'm sad tocnoticecthat the dewy and smooth is no longer...dewy. something's missing. I buy the same shade and always have done no. 220, and I look pale, not nice at all. As it's the only foundation I've found that works I don't want to change so will purchase again in the hopes that maybe...it's a bad batch type of thing. But if not, what's the cause?

NOT the same color as the original version

If you're going to change the formulation of your makeup making your foundation 3 shades darker but keep the name and number the same would it be asking to much to let people know? Maybe offer a recommendation as to what new shade I should be using? Do you know how inconvenient this is for someone who shops online and can't test the colors before I buy them? How am I supposed to know what color to get now? Why would you keep the same name and change the color this much? I don't even know if I'll be able to find a foundation from Maybelline that works anymore. The old version was the closest I could ever find for my skin.

Now before the mods delete this, know that the sunscreen and fragrance in this is a proven irritant and it will make your eyes water and your skin itch. Maybelline used to make good foundation, now I just don't even bother.

Matte vs Dewy #235 different colors

I have used Matte #235 for years, my skin is getting drier and ordered the Dewy foundation #235 and it is much darker than that Matte. The Matte is a perfect shade for me and I am confused as to how the number is the same and quality control does correct such an obvious color difference. What shade can a purchase to lighten the Dewy foundation?
