A well-groomed eyebrow is the easiest way to look better, fresher and more polished in minutes. And while the art of the brow is everyone's favorite accessory this fall and winter, especially during mask-ed up times, trust us, polished, natural-looking brows don't have to be a whole high-maintenance situation to achieve. Get yourself a super-skinny pencil and a trusty, swipe-on brow mascara and read up on these tips.
Swipe to see the difference applying a bit of brow mascara makes!
Natural looking brows! Created with Brow Fast Sculpt Eyebrow Mascara.
Rather than filling in your brows front to back, start at the center, where your arch is, and fill in the tails first. Brows are stronger and shapelier at the front, and tend to fade out past the arches. So when you clean up and enhance the outer halves, you might find that you don't even need to apply much makeup to the front.
Eyebrows are made up of hairs of slightly different tones. Some are lighter, some are darker. Recreate this blend of tones by using two shades, one lighter shade and one darker shade, to fill them in rather than a single block of color (blended in well, of course, so there's no noticeable difference between shades.) Even if you're using something easy like Brow Fast Sculpt Eyebrow Mascara Makeup, see how they look filled in with say, a lighter shade at the front, and a darker shade for the ends.
The trick to really natural looking brows is blending, blending, blending. Fill in sparse areas where needed then take a spoolie and brush color into brows over and over again. The more blended-in, the more natural-looking. Did you know, Brow Ultra Slim Pencil has a spookie brush built into it already?!
Even if you're not filling them in and are simply using a clear brow gel, brush your eyebrow hairs up as much as possible. This will give you that nice, naturally-full brow look we love.
Use a super-fine tipped pencil like Brow Ultra Slim Defining Eyebrow Pencil and "draw" in little hairs. Short, feathery strokes will recreate the natural texture of brow hairs.
