HOW TO CREATE A 60S EYE MAKEUP LOOK

WITH ROSE SIARD

Bring on the fun! Makeup artist Rose Siard broke down one of her favorite makeup creations: A dramatic, ‘60s-inspired graphic eyeliner look. It’s glamorous, it’s show-stopping, and it’s surprisingly simple to do!

  1. '60S EYE MAKEUP LOOK STEP 1: DRAW A WING

Using Tattoo Studio Sharpenable Gel Pencil Longwear Eyeliner in Deep Onyx, draw a thin, swooping line from the corners of your eyes, upwards and outwards. Using super-light, feathery strokes of eyeliner, draw a line just above the crease of your eyes, extending out to join the winged liner, creating an outlined wing on each eye.

  2. '60S EYE MAKEUP LOOK STEP 2: FILL IN EYELIDS

Fill in the outlined eye area with Color Tattoo 24HR Cream Gel Eyeshadow in High Roller, a metallic taupe, using an eyeshadow brush for precise application.

  3. '60S EYE MAKEUP LOOK STEP 3: ADD MORE SHEEN

For an intense, wet-like sheen, take a super-shimmery champagne powder eyeshadow, like the one from our Diamond District City Mini Eyeshadow Palette, and press it into the center of eyelids with your finger.

  4. '60S EYE MAKEUP LOOK STEP 4: LINE UPPER LASH LINE

Line the entire upper lash line of your eyes with that same black eyeliner, drawing the line right at the root of lashes.

  5. '60S EYE MAKEUP LOOK STEP 5: APPLY MASCARA

Apply several coats of The Falsies Lash Lift Mascara to top and bottom lashes.

  6. '60S EYE MAKEUP LOOK STEP 6: LINE LOWER LASH LINE

Trace the lower waterline with a soft nude shade of eyeliner or eyeshadow. Then, apply Hyper Easy Liquid Liner along the lower lash line, outlining the nude liner along the waterline and smudge it out using a pencil liner.

  7. '60S EYE MAKEUP LOOK STEP 7: HIGHLIGHT INNER CORNERS

Dot a little bit of super-shimmery beige eyeshadow, like Originator from the Nudes of New York Eyeshadow Palette, into the inner corners of the eye and just under the highest point of your eyebrows.
