Are you an Aries, Leo, or Sagittarius, and love all things astrology? Then, we have the ultimate Halloween look for you. Created by makeup artist Monica Veloz, this star sign-inspired eye makeup look is fire and will turn up the heat on the most frightful (and fun!) night of the year. Using our new Into The Zodiac Collection, Monica walks you through how to create the look at home. Get ready to rule, baby!
Watch Monica Veloz create a Halloween look inspired by fire signs.
Using a makeup sponge or brush, apply a loose face powder to your t-zone or other oily areas of your face to help prime it for a foundation base.
Create an even base for your Halloween makeup look using a medium-coverage matte foundation.
Use a tinted brow pen to fill and define brows with natural, hair-like strokes.
Starting at the inner corner of the eye, cover the full eyelid with red eyeshadow. Then, wing it up and out. Clean up any uneven edges with a Q-Tip and micellar water.
Use the same red eyeshadow to outline the upper bridge of your nose and add emphasis to the look. Blot the color with your fingertip.
Add winged liner on top of your red eyeshadow look using a liquid eyeliner. The angle of the eyeliner wing should align with the angle of the eyeshadow wing. Then, finish the eye look with volumizing mascara.
Make this makeup look go off by highlighting the under eye area with a concealer shade that’s one to two shades lighter than your natural complexion.
Take the same red eyeshadow that you used for your eyes and dab it on your cheeks. Apply it to the apple of your cheek and pull it all the way up to your hairline. It’s Halloween after all – don’t be afraid to go all out!
Using a makeup brush or finger, apply gold highlighter to the tops of cheeks and drag it up towards your hairline. Then, dust the highlighter lightly on your brow bone area.
Swipe on a matte red lipstick, like Leo from the new Super Stay Matte Ink Liquid Lipstick Into the Zodiac collection!
