Ive also used this for years. I use to use the quad color motion mocha 100. Since they removed the applicator they have changed the formula. I never used the applicator so no big deal. But its like its not as much powder in the containers. I go through one of these in no time where it took me a while to use it up before you changed. Terrible to pay so much money and iy dont last no time.

Change in formula is a mistake

I recently bought the new version of the Mocha Motion four-color eyeshadow. This version has no applicator. My issue is that the formula of the shadow has changed. It's more powdery and creates a lot of dust on my eyelids, and doesn't look as good. The second color (a light taupe) also has changed, with less shine/glitter. I'm not going to buy this again.

Awful new ingredients

Been using for years. Change in ingredients. My eyes are irritating all day. Get crusty. Red eyes all day. Done with this product searching for a new one. Uses more than the normal one.

Used to Love

This isn't specifically about Quads, but I have used Maybelline eye shadow for years, and love Tastefully Taupe. I can't believe you have removed the applicator. NO, I don't always have a brush handy and how do I wash my hands in the car as I apply it with my finger? Or at the concert? People are on the go and want convenience. So disappointed, especially when this was a cost saving measure from a company who makes tons of money off of us, your sales, since young people are hooked on make-up also, have got to be "sky-high!"

Missing Applicator and Messier Formula

I am so disappointed with the recent changes to this product. I have used it for years and always appreciated that it came with an applicator. The included applicator worked perfectly and fit neatly inside the compact. Now that applicators are no longer included, the store-bought replacements are not comparable and do not fit properly in the compartment, which prevents it from closing completely.
Unfortunately, the packaging redesign seems to have affected the product itself as well. The shadow now appears much looser than it used to be, making application messy. It leaves specks and residue on my face, and there is often excess product that has to be tapped or dumped out, creating additional waste and mess.
This used to be one of my favorite beauty products, and I was a loyal customer for many years. The removal of the applicator combined with the changes to the formula or packaging have significantly reduced the quality and ease of use. I am very disappointed and may need to start looking for an alternative brand that offers the same convenience and quality I once loved.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Colors and formula changed

I have used the Autumn Coppers palette for years as my go-to work day staple. Recently I bought a new quad and discovered the colors have changed! It's subtle, but color #1 is chalkier, color #2 has less depth, color #3 went from a warm doe skin copper with shimmer to a muddy grayish flat color that flatters absolutely no one, and #4 is more terra cotta than before and is much less blendable. Looking elsewhere for my basics.

Bring back applicator!

I love the Designer Chocolates and have been using this shade combo for years and Maybelline since I began using makeup in my teens, I’m now 55! Recently purchased a new compact and was very unhappy to see it does not have an applicator. Telling customers to “use their finger” is not an appropriate response to customers who are discovering this cost cutting measure! I will now be looking for another company to buy from that isn’t as tone deaf to customer complaints/feedback as Maybelline! It is obvious that removing the applicator is an issue customers are upset about and the responses from corporate shows that customers don’t matter.

Why change the color and call it by the same name?

I’ve used chai latte for 10+ year and loved it up till now. I recently purchased it and was annoyed that it didn’t come with an applicator but I can deal with that inconvenience. What I can’t deal with is that they completely changed the colors. Instead of continuing to call it chai latte, change the name and say you discontinued the color. I would have rather dealt with that than buying a product that I thought I loved only to be highly disappointed by a product that I can’t use because it’s now the same color as my skin tone and you can’t even tell I’m wearing eyeshadow. Whoever made this decision of changing the color should be fired.

I also purchased the larger palettes in multiple colors, The City Mini, and those don’t have applicators either.
