This is the only mascara I have worn since I started wearing mascara.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The BEST Mascara Of All Time!!!! I have used this mascara since I started wearing makeup at 15 (I'm 41 not 42). I have tried other mascaras over the years, but never even lasted more than a week or two and I had to have my Great Lash back. I opened me a Google+ account a week or so ago, all I like to put on it is makeup and fashion. The day I opened it I saw an ad for Great Lash and I put it on my Google+ account with the comment below stating "Greatest Mascara Ever". ( It was the very first thing I put on my Google+ account.) Today I went on-line to the Harper Bazaars website and they had a link to click on for "greatest mascara" and it was "Maybelline's Great Lash" So I know what I am talking about!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wheres the BLUE? :-( I've been using Maybelline colored mascara for years - started wearing mascara on my blonde eyelashes back in the 60s. Maybelline was easy to apply & wore well. I LOVED having green,or purple, or blue lashes. The burgundys were not for me, nor are the blackest blacks or dull browns - those are boring and/or too harsh looking for me. Please, Please bring back the BLUE - it was perfect for looking 'normal',... but not. Even now, at the age of 65, blue looks awesome! Glad I had a stash of them, but I'm using my last Maybelline blue mascara now. I really don't want to go to another supplier of blue mascara - Great Lash is a good product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOYAL ROYAL BLUE USE FOR 40 YEARS So disappointed that I can't find the Royal Blue!!!! I have a lot of allergies and only wear Great Lash. I don't understand why you would stop making it?!? It set you apart to have this color! I wore glasses for 50 years & recently had cataract surgery with lens implants so I don't have to wear glasses anymore. I want to show off my eyes & be able to compliment the color in the clothes that I wear. Why have 20+ variations of BLACK like everyone else?? It's boring even if you change the type of application brush. PLEASE BRING IT BACK!! Even if for a limited time so I can stock up on it!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Miss my royal blue I've been wearing your royal blue for 20+ years and I'm so disappointed that I'm going to have to pay $30 to get a tube off eBay. I'm reading the other reviews and can't believe that so many people use it and you've discontinued it. Why?! I have allergies and wear very little make up and absolutely no other eye make up besides your mascara. I've tried another brand of royal blue and it didn't work well at all. So clumpy and terrible. I've always gotten so many compliments on the royal blue and have sent many others to purchase it after they just had a fit over it! You should really re-think this!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WHY !!!!!!! Why oh why....with all us women pleading for you to bring back the royal blue, what on earth would make you even hesitate! My son found someone who was selling one and purchased it for me at $35. !!!! And I was so happy that I was yelling & crying. I would gladly pay that again to get another one. It is the only mascara & eyeliner I have ever worn since i started wearing makeup over 40 years ago. I wore it every day. My husband fell in love with me wearing the royal blue. I still wear it to this day & have had people tell me i should model for Maybelline ! There are other blue mascaras' out there, but they are not the Maybelline quality. PLEASE...listen to your customers and bring back the ROYAL BLUE !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I humbly implore you to bring back the blue... I also have worn your blue mascara since the 80s and received many compliments on a weekly basis. I have been from shore to shore in the US recently and could not find it anywhere and learned it was discontinued. With all of the current colorful hair and artistic tattoos, I find it interesting that this color was discontinued...and I too tried the plum and liked it, but was faithful to my blue! I am not having any luck finding a replacement - the ones I have tried burn my eyes and black & brown just doesn't do it for me or my image. I implore you to please reconsider.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Royal Blue didn't flake and washed off easily. I used Blooming Colors in high school, in the 70's. Purple was my favorite. When you discontinued that line, much to my dismay, I went with Royal Blue which didn't flake and washed off easily. The blacks and browns flake and are difficult to wash off, aside from the fact that they are not pretty like the blue. Your response stated that Maybelline is working on new products. New is not always better. I will be trying other brands just because I am ticked that you have discontinued the blue. I was already disappointed that you had discontinued Blooming Colors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Miss the Blue I've been using the Maybelline blue mascara for probably 20 years--I bought 2 tubes a couple years ago because I was having trouble finding it; it seemed to be becoming scarce. Now I can't find it at all. People have always remarked on my blue eyes, and this product made them even more noticeable. PLEASE BRING IT BACK. Even if you market it only online at your site--those of us who have depended on the blue mascara for many years will have a way to keep using it.

Which black is blacker, very black or blackest black? Naming suggests blackest black is blacker, but the order in which they appear on the sight suggests otherwise.

Asked by: RandiR
Hi RandiR! Our Blackest Black has more intense black pigments than our Very Black. We're sorry for any confusion!
