I’ve been testing the Maybelline Brow Inserts Brow Multiplying Tool for an about a month now, I wanted to give a real review before sharing my thoughts about the product. This brow product is designed to help create fuller-looking, more defined brows with a natural finish. After using it consistently, I can says that it really makes my brow routine quicker and easier! The formula glides on smoothly, which makes it easier to fill in sparse areas without getting that harsh drawn on look. I love that I can build the intensity depending on the look I’m going for whether it’s soft everyday brows or a more polished, defined look. It blends well with a spoolie and helps give that fluffy, natural brow effect that’s been trending.

Ok but needs improvement

So I tried this a few just to be sure and it's good but I feel it could use some improvement. I really liked that the tip allowed you to add hair like strokes but I will say that it was hard to control the amount of tint that was coming out so it was a little patchy on application. The gel could use a stronger hold because I applied it and it didn't hold my eyebrows in place.

Nice product

Received this item free of charge in exchange of my honest review from Influenster and Maybelline. Nice product but I’m not thrilled. Clear instructions, I like the hair like brush strokes, but the product isn’t actually waterproof after setting, still experienced smudging.

I’m loving how easy it is to get that filled in brow look without without taking to long or looking over filled. The 3-Prong tip helps create hair like strokes, and the spoolie on the other end makes blending super easy.

I went into this product honestly thinking I wasn’t going to like it, especially since I have fairly thin, sparse brows, but I actually ended up loving it! The spiky end creates the perfect little hair like strokes, making my brows appear fuller. I was able to easily brush them through with a spooly to diffuse it a bit, and then fluffed them up and set them in place with the brush side. No brow glue needed!! This product was a one and done for my brows and I was blown away by how quickly I was able to fill them in and get them to my desired look. Highly recommend!

I was genuinely surprised at how easy to use this product is! It gives the perfect hair like strokes and the gel sets the brows in place. In my experience it takes a couple minutes for the gel to dry down but once it does it doesn’t smudge and the brows look great! Also love that the gel doesn’t make the brows feel crunchy.

It has a really nice and smooth texture. First time using a product like this and I think it is a lot easier to apply than a pencil and I think it looks nicer! The exact color it says and the brow gel is a nice touch to have with it. The brow gel does have a slight chemical smell to it but it’s not super strong and not too overwhelming. Packaging is great and the caps are secure and strong when on.

It’s really very easy to use, the pigmentation is very good, you shouldn’t put too much pressure on it so that the lines are not so marked, at first it seems that the gel doesn’t dry, but if it dries, you just have to wait 😅, I like that it has 2 steps so you don’t have to swim with 2 different products.

I tried the Maybelline Brow inserts in 262 black brown shade and found it not very helpful in making my scanty eyebrows look better. It comes as a pretty pen with neon packaging showing micro needles as step 1 and hair like fiber gel as step 2.
I've really uneven eyebrows and I thought this would make it look even but it didn't work in my favor. I liked that it makes the eyebrows look fuller but that I couldn't make it much defined.

Ehh I’ll stick to what I’m used to

I’m not sure what the price point is for the Maybelline Brow Inserts but I would pay under $10 for it. The constistency is stiff once it is dried on the eyebrow area. It is dark in color. I prefer my higher end eyebrow pencil. Even the Ulta brand is better than this one. Who the heck wants a two step eyebrow pencil?? People want simplicity.

I loved this brow product so much, I’m on my third tube. Granted, I lost the first one but that’s neither here nor there. I love how natural this looks in my super sparse brows. I don’t really want super pronounced or precise brows.. I just want to look like I have some and I’m only willing to spend about 30 seconds on them. I prefer to use the liner end over the gel end (the gel end can get a little gloopy) but the formula is really nice for both.

With Maybelline Brow Inserts I can add as many or as few into my eyebrow patches as I want. It really blends in and it's very easy to apply. The only part I wasn't a fan of was the gel wand it was too sticky. I will definitely be keeping this product around as it's the best I've found so far for my eyebrows.

I’ve never seen an eyebrow pencil like this before! The brush makes strokes that look like actual hair and the brush helps add more color. The color was a little too dark for my preference but I really love the concept and precision! The texture of using the wand also was a little clumpy

The brow inserts pen filled in the sparse areas of my brows, leaving them looking naturally full and voluminous. The brow mascara was a great addition to this tool. The pigment was a great match to my natural color and helped even out the appearance of thickness throughout my brows. My brows did not smudge or move out of places for a full whole day in the summer heat.

I like the slickness of the packaging itself. Also like the double edged. The filler in end that has jagged edges is easy to apply. It definitely made me brows look fuller I’m just not sure if I had the right color for myself.
